also Jay-Z sampled it again later (forgot the song name) ... so this guy benefited again .... he was homosexual, so he made Em change the famous "the only problem my teacher was a guy" line Jay-Z sampled the song on "Streets Is Watching." And Miquel on "Kaleidoscope Dream." Not to mention about 21 other artists sampled Labi's song as well. But it was Shaquille O'Neal feat. Method Man and RZA in 1994 who sampled it first on "No Hook," followed by Jay-Z in 1997. And there were 4 others before EM came on the scene. www.whosampled.com/Labi-Siffre/I-Got-The.../sampled/lol, I thought Em was the first to sample it, then it drew attention to others.. guess I was wrong it's safe to say Labi Siffre could been living the rest of his life from this song royalities haha, he never thought this song would be this important to his life and to the life of the biggest rapper in the world

I'm a bit late but not a big fan of the song either. Another rappity rap song with outdated references...yay. Not what I'm looking for from Em. I really hope it's not an indication of the direction he's taken on his next album, I would be so disappointed.
But great hype job from Big Sean and Zane Lowe though lol

But to me, the worst part of the song was all the lists of completely random objects. All the things he was going to use to "rape" Ann Coulter with. Lovely, Em. Lol Em REALLY needs to find some new subject matter to rap about. It's beyond old at this point.

I actually went back and listened to what Big Sean said in the interview because I forgot why I was so excited about the song, he claimed "all those things he said were so necessary for the album", lol really?
