I love this song. Hope his new album is similar to this but with a chiller flower. Ah ha! I see we've gotten you on board with Em's newer stuff. I personally love Shady XV, but it's funny you say you love this song. I think Die Alone is one of the worst on the CD, Lol. But the reason for that is the terrible production. You can't understand a word of Kobe's singing. And the changes in volume are jarring. Plus I find the song just so depressing. Actually, the entire album is very dark, with the exception of the title track and Yelawolf's Down. But I hear you about Em's singing--and the song Twisted. Loooove both. Em's singing melts me. Most of the time (still think he sounds bad on STIW). I don't really get what people keep saying about his "choppy flow." He still follows the beat. And i don't think his flow on any of the collabs he did last year could be called choppy. I personally love Phenomenal. The only time I'd maybe agree with "choppy" is his first verse on KND. But even that doesn't bother me anymore.

I mean just listen to like stan or way i am or anything off TES and compare it to now...its this stop and go flow and he isn't exactly riding the beat. its so rough. and i like some of his newer shit! MMLP2 was good! I just hate his flow now a days and think he really needs to find something to rap about hahaha. and man i love STIW! I was listening to it today actually running errands. I like it when Em takes chances even if he isn't technically the best singer. I think its one of the most personal songs that we got from him in a long time.

I'd say his flow is different now, but not off. I still don't get what people say about his "stop and go" flow. I've never noticed such a thing. Plus not all of his recent stuff is created equally. Like on The Hills remix. He obviously has the ability to chill out if he wants to. Plus he was just ridiculous on All I Think About; that was Em at his very best rapping-wise IMO. I just don't get STIW. Maybe that's part of why I've never cared for it all that much. People say it's told from Kim's perspective. But who knows. Because it's so ambiguous, it's hard to relate it to him personally. It's another vague love song that I'm not sure what to make of. But yeah, I love Em's singing because it shows his vulnerable side. Plus he can carry a melody, even if he doesn't have the best singing voice.

I will never get where people got that from. Just listen/read the lyrics and its obvious that its not. I mean i sincerely doubt Em would call himself beautiful lol. I think it is just people reaching trying to make Em into this romantic dude or something. Idk i just disagree about his flow. To me its pretty obvious. He legit stops in the middle of the beat and growls throughout the song. Even songs thats dont call for it. Recovery was the worst -every song was pretty much like that on that album besides like Space Bound. MMLP2 he is a little better but his flow isn't what it used to be. I really think it has to do with vocal strain-dude has been rapping for over two decades. Happens to singers too.

I think people think it's from Kim's perspective because he talks about someone leaving the other person. And we know that in the end, it was Em who walked out on Kim right after he'd insisted on getting remarried. But I'm sure she walked out on him plenty of times too. Or maybe he's just talking about how he feels about relationships in general. That he's always going to be abandoned. Because it has happened to him many times over in reality (not necessarily in romantic relationships).

Not trying to paint Kim as evil but I can see that happening. Or kim and Em hooked up and Em took it way more seriously than Kim did and Em got hurt because of it.

this is what hospice says about his flow btw kat531 at like 2:03 if you are wondering Yeah, I've watched that "hospice" interview before, Lol. We can just add him with Tyler and Earl Sweatshirt on the list of young artists who used to worship Em who now are dissing him. Maybe that's part of the reason Em is taking his own sweet time putting out a new album. I'm sure it's not easy being criticized all the time.

Hospin still loves Em-just listen to the whole interview. Constructive criticism is a good thing. I mean Em used to like Everlast then he dissed the shit out of him in a song because he didnt like him anymore lol. Hospin clearly still loves Em. Just talking about him he is cheesing and is still defending him while he is "dissing' him haha. I hope he gets to meet him kat531 when did tyler diss Em btw ?

Saying something like, "Em, I love you but Shady XV is ass. Somebody that cares tell him please." Or something very similar. But what Earl said was the worst. Saying he didn't follow Em anymore and called all Em's Stans something derogatory for still liking Em's music. Edit: Crooked's response track to Tyler was the best, lmao. Saying all these young dudes "got man crushes on Em."

And when your a hardcore fan and dont like something you get super pissed cuz you know your fav can do better. Im guilty of it hhaha. Now Earl yeah he is just a little shit but i dont think tyler was dissing Em. Em isn't immuned to people not liking everything he touches. It could have been worse..it could have been like when Em was pissed at everlast lmao: Rap is opinionated and competitive. tyler still likes Em-he even said it when he was saying he didnt like Shady XV. Plus I think he cares more than the average fan if he knows that Em seems to live in a bubble and no one tells him that something might not be good. Thats not healthy

Thats not healthy Yeah, I agree it wasn't much of a diss on Em by Tyler, but it was a diss on Em's music. Which is what I mostly meant in my first post about younger artists ragging on Em's newer music. But I don't think anyone at the Shady camp was really all that mad at Tyler. They knew it was just his opinion. But they also kind of cautioned him about being careful about what you say about things in general--because you'll have to face whatever the consequences might be. Tyler actually fairly quickly deleted the tweet, but it was already too late. Plenty of people had already seen it.
