I really hope shady records sits out as a whole next era. I doubt it cuz Paul will be jumping on that label trying to give it cpr even if it signed an DNR and flatlined twenty times in row. Give it up bro. I hope this is grips last album too especially after his little public temper tantrum to release a rushed album like that. Then he will side diss shady records cuz they didnāt promote him enough or they decide not to resign him just like griselda. All I know shady records has really hurt Ems brand dude. And enough is enough. Too many ppl in the circle especially with Royce and Denaun running around using Em as a bartering chip in the industry and Royce telling everyone involved with shady records and shade45 etc to keep reminding Em that he needs to collaborate with little disrespectful boo boo head in Detroit because itās good for da culture aka Royceās career Anyway I hope they end up signing somewhere but not with shady. Denaun keeps saying he wants his own identity (even in this interview) so this is the perfect opportunity to do that and sign with a label and management team that has nothing to do with em. Get a manager that gives u a five year plan that doesnāt just involve Em. Iām sure Paul or Dre can suggest someone that is solid. You aināt a new artist anymore. He should be able to spot the good managers from the bad especially with referrals I think it would be good for both Em and Denaun professionally if Denaun did his own thing tbh and more importantly their friendship. Em wonāt feel like he needs to throw Royce and Denaun a bone every time he shits and not feel pressured by them and Denaun can focus on his next chapter and get out of Ems shadow (that he says he wants to do) and then their friendship can be back to being actual friends bro where they just get to talk about movies and sports. Without expectations and demands. Cuz the way Denaun has been talking AT Em (not with em) since 2017 is nasty and borderline disrespectful Again Denaun can have a strong career if he sticks around positive and talented ppl but he needs a strong manager and have them map out a plan for him instead of just jumping from project to project claiming this is the new him for the 200th time and then just wind up waiting for Em to do something and going back to square one I get how that can happen donāt get me wrong. Not all artists are good at business and art -actually most arenāt. So use ur connections and start interviewing solid managers bro that can help u reach ur individual goals. Sometimes itās hard to see the bigger picture of something especially when itās about yourself (even if u are good at business) so you donāt see the pattern ur stuck in and then u end up blaming outside sources like Paul, Em, shady records, Dre etc everytime u end up in the same place and become resentful when u really need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture and all the opportunities u can make. Like from denauns interviews and lives it always goes back to the same thing āI wanna be out Em shadowā¦I HELPED CREATE THAT MONSTER!! I donāt think they see my worth!! And I helped Em with touringā Itās a common theme. Well now that Em is being low key for YEARS (since 2020) and isnāt touring donāt even think about Em right now. Be selfish. Get a manager and team where the whole focus should be you -just like Paul and Ems teams whole focus should be him. Nasaan is doing that too. Dude just keep dropping 30-90 second clips of the same songs or songs that sound super similar and then a 90 second random ass video. Eventually somethjng has to change. Itās funny but ppl say Em has all these yes men but I feel like itās complete opposite. Like with Royce, Denaun and nasaan everyone like walks on egg shells with them in the industry and with em even his own ass manager is telling Em during a podcast interview what he needs to do better and telling him certain shit sucks and then he gets it from all angles in the industry but when it comes to precious Denaun and Royce and nasaanā¦kids gloves Itās weird as fuck. I hope Paul starts focusing on just Em and brings in interscope/aftermath more because I donāt think he understood what he was getting into bringing in all these personalities into Ems life ā¦and then just focus on Em and Vince ash cuz that dude has a lot of talent. And help Denaun get a solid manger whose sole purpose is to build denauns career. I think the biggest problem with Royce and Denaun is that they genuinely think they are good business men. They arenāt. At all. They are both wayyy to emotional and stuck in their heads. They donāt need to be good business men either. But they should know that by now and get the appropriate resources to help them move on. One of the best things somekne can do for themselves is figure out what there good at but more importantly what their not. Understanding yourself is super powerful. Nobody is good at everything. If Eminem is genuinely trying to start the next phase of his career and build up Shady Records seperate from the Eminem brand, I am all for it. He has said he can't rap forever, but will always be in music and working in the studio. Makes since to want to influence the rap genre through a new generation of artists. There could be another 50 Cent success story in Em's career. I don't know if this guy is it, but who knows!
