This dude is annoying but I agree with him about Royce
Royce keeps trying to play mentor to young artists but there are a lot of rumors that he scams them and since he has ties to the industry no one wants to call him out on it. And he also uses Em name as leverage to make the young artists feel like they can get Em access
Royce has always been strange with money.

Thanks for sharing that video matty. That was an eye-opener! But it still doesn't make sense why Paul puts up with Royce, for example having him on Shade 45 recently. Royce even thanked Paul. Now it makes me wonder if Royce has something on Paul or Marshall that he is holding over their head. Otherwise, they do not need Royce for anything! They have Dre, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Jay-z, Drake and all those people who think highly of Marshall. |

At this point I don’t think he has anything substantial on Em or Paul
I think Paul just felt sorry for royces ass these years or thought he helped with the label since Em wasn’t that interested and Denaun vouched for him
Royce might try and pull some shady shit tho and act like he knows something but I doubt anything real. Might be the other reason Paul played nice- he knows Royce is messy and can start rumors even if they aren’t true

Biz said he felt guilty for vouching for joe it’s funny because the more Royce talks the more u realize that the story they tried to sell about Em and Royce is false. Royce confessed that Em and him weren’t that tight when SH was on shady. He said it on joes podcast. And then they hung out a bit around 2016-2018ish. Even back in the day before the fall out Em met Royce not long at ALL before signing to Dre and Royce dipped to do his own label thing leaving Em without a fucking hype man which made Em go to proof even tho they were fighting. Royce and Em were NEVER besties. It would be like me saying a friend I hung out with in college for two years and then worked with together for a couple of years ten years later was my bestie. Nah. The narrative is wrong. I think Paul tried to force the friendship to get Em out of his bubble and seem less awkward or something but it didn’t work. EM DIDNT EVEN WANT TO DO BME! And he certainly wasn’t friends with him when he was drunk all the time trashing Ems studio with bottles when Em was newly sober. The only times they had a semi friendship was like three years. honestly I think Royce even used crook and joell as a stepping stone to get back with Em and never gave a fuck about SH. Same with joe. Joe just wanted access to Em to get money to buy a house, dip the contract and use Em name for his podcast no matter what. They never wanted it to go that far which is why joe kept pushing back and Royce was like “I ain’t doing it without joeeeeeee” 😭 and joe was like I ain’t doing it if we are on the labellll! So fine they get off the label and they STILL found lame excuses.
