This is the first Eminem song we've gotten in an entire year, and all it generates is less than one thread page?? Come on folks. This is sad. Yeah I'm surprised this hasn't generated a little more interest on the board. Maybe because the song is a bit generic? It reminds me of LTWYL especially the chorus "It's alright because I love the way you lie" "You're gonna make me a believer / if this shit ain't true". I like the song but I have only listened to it a few times since it came out. It got old pretty quickly for me. I think it's because I don't feel any emotions from Skylar's parts. I don't really know a lot about her personality but she strikes me as a super hippie/mellow girl, can't picture her killing someone for her lover. On the other hand, we know Em almost killed a dude over Kim lol Maybe they should have switched roles in the song. I also saw someone post an old Rihanna tweet from 2014 that had the chorus lyrics and I think she would have been a better fit for this type of song. Like if you listen to Bitch Better Have My Money, the emotion in her voice really fit the theme of the song. Skylar's soft tone doesn't sell it for me. I've seen people dissect the song on other boards but personally I don't really care about the technical stuff. Too much nitpicking lol

I personally love it. I've listened to it like 15 times already. It does remind me of LTWYL part 3. But I actually love Skylar's singing on this, the beat and everything. It's making me even hungrier for new Em material...

People are more interested in his solo work than his features. This is made worse by none of his features being sent or pushed at radio recently. His songs kinda only exist to his core audience. Like you'd have to be an Eminem fan to know that this song exists. That's kinda why there is less interest this song. I do like the song and I think it would do well if people heard it.

Well I finally heard the song and...meh. .I like it but I don't think is thaaaat amazing, of course I'm just talking about Skylar's part, Em's flawless as always in every aspect. I like the rhymes, the beat and all but I don't know...if Em wasn't on it I probably wouldn't have listen to it more than twice or 3 times, I didn't like as much as Come Up For Air, I repeat: this critic is just for Skylar, I loved everything about Em's verse. I do want a video tho

No, I meant on this board. You'd think we might show more interest in the first Em verse we've had in a year, Lol. Kim's drunk driving/ suicide attempt led to 8x the thread pages and interest over new Eminem music. Seems a little odd to me, that's all.

I think I'm beginning to like the way EM looks better than his current "cameo" music! Not impressed with the collaboration and I don't think this song's going to be a blockbuster hit. By a long shot! Not like the songs EM did with auto-tuned Ri-Ri.

I love Em's verse, but I wish the melody was better. Not trying to be anti-Skyler...it just seems a little tuneless. Which is interesting since her last single with him (c'mon let me ride) was kind of relentlessly almost merry-go-round music, sound wise. All jealousy aside for working with my imaginary boyfriend, I wish Skyler could find her groove.

I'm really surprised people here don't like it more. I thought I hated Skylar Grey's singing, but she sounded really good on this. I actually fell in love with the demo version we heard before Em's verse was on it and the album came out. I can't get enough of this song. I'm afraid I'm going to overplay it. Damn, I need a new Eminem album.

You certainly do (need a new EM album), kat531, because that song is so mediocre that I'm yawning from boredom!

Yeah, it's similar to LTWYL, but Skylar wrote both--so it's not too surprising. The subject matter is certainly not new for Em either. But the music is new, and Em's flow was new. But yeah, this isn't going to sustain me for too long. One little Em verse after an entire year ain't going to cut it for Em fans.

I heard it a few more times to see if I begin to love it and nop, I like it tho don´t get me wrong but it´s just so...I don´t know...typical...I lik the rest of the songs I heard from the album but I expected more from this since Em is on it, I was thinking while listening to it: if Em made her change the lyrics from Come Up For Air because he thought those weren´t enough (and I´m glad he did), why would he settle with this song? I mean, I like the beat and most of the lyrics but there´s something about it makes me go through the whole song almost without notice it until Em´s verse kicks in and I suddenly pay attention

I love the song but I love it because Em is on it and it is pretty much in my mind the closest thing we have to a true Em love song. Before this it was Crazy in Love and/or I love you more but to me those were like hit and miss on the love part. Maybe I need to go back and listen to them again because this could be the same song just told a different way LOL. I guess I never really considered them true "Love Songs" because I assumed them were about Kim and I just never felt they were a functional couple.
