As for Em's temper, I also believe that he has mellowed out, especially after getting clean. But something tells me that he still has a bad temper. Wasn't there a story a few years ago about a guy affiliated with him tweeting negative things about Em and someone from D12 pm'ed that person and asked them to cut it out in fear of Em's reaction? It gives the impression that everyone around him has to walk on egg shells when it comes to criticism. Agree, and not to mention it makes him look like a pussy. Poor pumpkin can't read anything bad about himself without having a meltdown so his team has to keep him from seeing twitter trolls and negative reviews? Jesus H Christ isn't he almost 44? I think he's sensitive and prone to overreacting and it was exacerbated when he was on drugs--but you know what, so am I. So are a lot of people. You just have to deal, and I think he can and does. He did not have any easy life. He's faced much worse than a mean tweet. IMO Em's mistake is and has for some time been that he allows his team to function in a way that makes him seem weak. |

This is a person who has had a tremendously traumatic childhood, a chaotic relationship, one biological daughter and two other daughters he's raised as his own, a drug habit, a stint in jail, a brush with death, all the trappings of fame, blah blah blah. He can handle a mean tweet. IMO Em's mistake is and has for some time been that he allows his team to function in a way that makes him look like a widdle princess when he's not. Lol you're right, I think his people do a lot of pre-emptive work to spare his ego and it might not be at his request. I feel like it's also for their own peace of mind because he has a hard time letting go and probably goes on and on about the negative comments. In his first rolling stone interview, there was a tiny incident when they visited Gilbert's Lodge. One of the employees made a snide remark to him and the journalist commented that Em kept bringing it up throughout the day lol Like you said, he's had a rough life so he probably values not having to deal with petty internet drama. Because he would probably go off on people and it would be a shit show! He could definitely handle it but I think he recognizes that he is insecure and doesn't want to add unnecessary fuel to it. |

I agree! That would also explain why he says that he doesn't want to have access to the internet. I could totally picture him having Azealia Banks-esque twitter rants and meltdowns if he handled his own social media account lol It's sad how sheltered he is, living in his little protective bubble! But if it makes his life less stressful I guess we can't really blame him. Editing this post cuz its too mean lol ill just leave it as half of whay em and his team say I'm all like: LOL now I want to know what you were going to say! Do you mean you think they're lying about him going online? |

Completely random but I recently watched a few old episodes of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta when Benzino was still on the show. I remembered the beef he had with Em and his crew. Now that I see how lame and sappy Benzino is and how he gets clowned by everyone on the show, it just makes the whole situation laughable. To think that all of the people involved took the beef so seriously and made it seem like it was a gangster war is so cringe worthy.

I'm curious what matty initially write too, lol. Em does go online sometimes he says. He's said it recently a couple of times. I also think he tries to limit it, but I doubt it's out of fear of exploding. He's a bit insecure and obsessive, so reading stuff about himself all day can't be real healthy for him. And as much as I like to psychoanalyze with you Matty, I think it might be a bit of a stretch to assume he's still got anger problems because he likes watching fish, lol. Maybe he does find it calming. But anxiety and anger aren't necessarily tied together. It can be true for some people, but that really depends on the person. Em was an angry young man for many reasons--and his drug use did nothing to help any impulsive acting out. It seems he's worked through a lot of it but I wouldn't doubt he's learned anger management skills and still needs to use them at times. I'm thinking of that interview with Royce when Royce made an insensitive comment about Em not having certain shoes as a kid; like, what was wrong with you? Em looked really pissed but was able to keep it together by simply saying he was really poor growing up. Plus, Em is wound pretty tight, so I'm sure he can get irritable easily. I do think his team tries to shield him somewhat from things, but it may be more about their fears for his emotional stability more than him really needing it. But yeah, it's hard to know what really goes on behind locked doors. And Em has locked the whole world out. |

He has said many times in interviews and song that he really has nothing left to say. That he is just saying the same things over and over in a different way. I think he may be done. I fear that from this point on, we will only get collaborations from him. No more albums. I wish he would just tell us one way or another. |

MMMLP2 was confirmed to exist 6-9 months before it was released. They've confirmed nothing about any new albums. All they do is try to sell more ugly merch and advertise their shitty video game. I'm honestly done with the nonsense. I'm trying to get to the point of accepting that Em may be gone for good. And if he does happen to surface in the future, it will just be a nice surprise. |
