They were actualy sued by the Federal Trade Commission for $7.8 million and lost this past May. Obviously Paul did not vet them too well, or if at all, or didn't care. The company has gotten famous faces to push their online therapy in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if he is a paid partner. There are national help lines that are more notable and free, why wouldn't he just promote those? Associated Press covered the lawsuit: apnews.com/article/betterhelp-ftc-data-privacy-settlement-payments-779419226dcbcd18d63be9381e1f2369Oh no...thats what I was thinking....there's a benefit somehow otherwise why pick "that" one - too random. Not good. Thanks for sharing! It looks like this video might have been an add for Betterhelp. They literally have a screenshot of the video on their website and he has his on page, so this is definitely sponsored content. www.betterhelp.com/eminem/

Since it is a video, I am also sure everyone fetaured in the video was paid as well. This reminds me of that Bored Ape fiasco. I don't know what Paul is thinking these days. Anything for money I guess.

I think that the song, maybe the video too, are very meaningful to Em (like Mockingbird), so he wouldn't just do the mv only to promote idk what online site or smth. I think this all's Paul's work..

I liked the concept until I read that BetterHelp has been sued by the FTC. I mean if something is attacned to your name, and your children, you do your due diligence. An artist at his level should know better. They are worried about his name being attached to a podcast, but not to a company that was sued by the government? If this not was for money, then these peopel are completely incompetent and I don't believe that. If it was only about mental health awareness there are national free organizations. Also, since he said during his Sway interview that he has never done therapy and music is his therapy, why is he going to promote a shady therapy company to his fans? But I don't think the video was just for the promo, I am sure Paul saw an opportunity. But Eminem needs to pay attention likeother artists do.

That's what i tought too, Paul probably saw an oportunity and probably got some pretty good money off of all this. Tbh, i don't think Em really has something to do with this since it's not his place, like Paul is the one who would take every oportunity to make money. idk but it's true that he should've known better or at least check them out. Of course it's not only about mental health but i feel like this song, maybe the video too, are still meaningful to Em somehow ,like all of his songs where he pours his heart out, that's why he said music is his therapy, and bc of this i personally think they didn't do the video just to promote a shady website. tbh i liked the concept of the video and song. I also heard that recently BetterHelp changed over the years and that they fired some shady therapists. Maybe they are actually helpful now and maybe they can really help someone.

Don’t you get one month of free therapy through Em’s link? I just mean it could help someone?

I just hope if people need the help it is truly good and will help not turning out how some are saying this org is - not good...

That would be one very fast turn around... for a field with licensure I would assume checks and balances don't go that fast...

I think the issue people have with this particular company is that it’s corporate based and for profit and it’s not a non-profit, so being corporate-based, it does your typical corporate bs. As far as actually helping people – hopefully they truly do what is intended and help people.

Idk i just said what i heard..but to me it doesn't even matter much bc the video and the song still hit hard and i like the concept.
