I'm still mad that Ronald McDonald got Ems beat and still blame Paul and his little minion 😤 I said something about it on Paul's twitter. I don't remember my exact words but it was something like "I think this would have gone differently if you sold NFTs to Em with 'want your beat to belong to Tom MacDonald?" There were a lot of complaints. Lot's of people sarcastically saying let me just take out my credit card and pay 100k for some shoes. |

I don't remember my exact words but it was something like "I think this would have gone differently if you sold NFTs to Em with 'want your beat to belong to Tom MacDonald?" There were a lot of complaints. Lot's of people sarcastically saying let me just take out my credit card and pay 100k for some shoes. ok - i must be outta loop. i know Tom MacDonald is some kinda rapper, but don't know why the hate. I know he had some song about COVID that was criticized for spreading misinformation but other than that I know nothing about the guy, Is that why you guys don't like him? Can someone fill me in? |

Ugh I'm sorry but I swear another reason I hate Royce. So remember the line in Lighters from Royce where he said something like "I remember when tpain didn't want work with me..." well apparently Royce sent him a song and I guess tpain was not interested. So when he wanted to work with em I guess Royce connvinced him not to cuz he was salty that he didn't want to with Royce first. At the end of the day it's not a huge deal but this isn't the first time royce cocked blocked ppl from working with em. He did it with tee grizzlely too for similar reasons. Is Royce just the fucking gate keeper?
I think a tpain and Em song would have been fun as Fuck circa 2010. I swear Royce and Paul just love keeping him in his little bubble especially Royce so he can use Em as leverage to get ppl to work with him. He even told a younger artist verbatim "if you work with me don't u think Em is gonna see that?!? And get his attention?!" So gross.

How he can frame serious topics in a way that makes you think? Politics, school shootings, cancel culture, depression, addiction, recovery, etc.? Tom MacDonald is the opposite of that. Everything is a lecture, and it isn't even a very good lecture, just someone trying too hard to be an edgelord.It doesn't surprise me at all that he spread misinformation about covid. He is a right wing conspiracy theorist (though he would never admit it) and he thinks covid is all a scam to control people. He talks a lot about white men being the world's scapegoat...kind of like Joyner's I'm Not Racist but without the black perspective. For an example, I would suggest to listen to Tone Deaf and then Fake Woke. They both touch on cancel culture but Em weaves it in expertly among all the other layers, whereas Tom's chorus is literally a slogan from the Trump campaign ("facts don't care about your feelings"), and his lyrics sound like a bunch of MAGA white guys complaining in internet comments. |
