Basically a documentary crew hung out with Debbie and Nate for a while. They also spoke to one of her brothers, her Mother Betty. She really thought she was a star or something. It was sad. Absolutely no self awareness. |

I know I am about to get dragged for this unpopular opinion, but I believe Hailie with her dad and his mom popping up out of nowhere is all staged. I think it is staged on behalf of Hailie and her podcast. I mean for years we have never seen Marshall and Hailie together especially snapped by paparazzi and somehow JustJared gets footage of them walking during rehearsal? Where was JustJared at the Super Bowl and at the VMAs? Then all of a sudden, his mom, who I am sure he takes care of at this point, and we haven't heard from her in ages, all of a sudden films herself congratulating him, and on top of it telling Hailie Jade she likes her podcast. Then Hailie's podcast, which is normally on Friday was now launched on Saturday, the day of her dad's induction and featured her sister, who coincidentally was not at the induction. Also, if he supports his mom, I'm sure she has signed something where she is not to speak publicly again. Would she take the chance of losing his financial support at her age? And she really didn't look all that well, in my humble opinion. Now don't get me wrong, although I think it is staged, I love all of it, BUT, having worked for the media previously, I have been made aware of these kind of stunts that celebrities orchestrate. I personally think this was done to support Hailie and this was probably the best way to shine the spotlight on his baby girl without it being obvious he was helping her out. Which, why shouldn't he help her, that's his baby. But I know this will not be a popular opinion, so just drag me lightly, don't get carried away because we all have theories and speculations.  I'm basing mine on having worked at a major publication and things I have been privy to in the past. I think you give a little too much credit to his incompetent team 😂 they can barely manage to sync his social media posts a week later the events happen 😭 I do agree they "allowed" the justjared photos to happen (staged sounds like too much work for his lazy team honestly) but RE: debbie's video, why use a non-simpathetic character (debbie of all people) to "shine light" on his "baby girl"? |

Need I remind u that Em testified in court to help Debbie lose custody of Nate when Em was older and before that she lost custody of Nate when he was a kid for a few years?
It’s really hard to take a kid away from their mother and Em was alone with that woman for 14 years before that.
And with that I’ll see my self out of this thread.

Em clearly had legit reasons he didn’t want Nate or himself around Debbie. It’s hard to take a child away from a parent let alone mother. She’s definitely kept at arms length if that close at all. IMO this was her way to get attention |

I do think the paparazzi photos had some kind of intent behind them. Multiple. Not just for her.
I def don’t think it was a coincidence, and I don’t think his team is too incompetent to think of this. Only his fans think he has a team thats bad at PR, I have seen people who don’t like him say that his team is good with pr STUNTS. Not being good with social media activity doesn’t mean you’re not good at Pr stunts in general. People shit on his team because they are more old school, having paparazzi pics and things like that released isn’t new school at all. That is a typical tactic. So yeah its very believable we got those pictures on purpose not that they were caught. I also think they did that because they knew they weren’t doing any red carpet either.

That said, I work closely with my workplace Marketing and Communication teams for a decent size company and I can't speak from a celebrity pov but there’s usually some sort of alternative motive (even if tiny) or audience factor with decisions. Hallie going, i do not think was for PR, but since there... Right? The sort of unspoken thing is ah since so and so is there let’s give their profile a little boost. Plus it can be treated naturally since she’s supposed to be there. No ulterior motives suggested. Someone mentioned Tom & Katie earlier. A relative of mine worked for a digital film company at the time. This was like right before digital formats became normal. At the time it was just a useful, inexpensive way to make films without insane budgets. Anyways, Katie Holmes made a movie with this company. I can’t remember if she was promoting it or about to promote it but they wanted to do a quick Q&A and they couldn’t hear her answers because paparazzi camera clicks were drowning them out. Then Tom’s people had them all leave. Why? They had paid them to be there to create buzz. 😂 |

But I will say the three realest I ever met were Idris Elba, Jodie Foster and Selma Hayek. The meanest was Claire Danes. The nicest guy was Tom Skerrit who stood up for me when a camera from another outlet shoved me out the way. But I digress, I'm rambling again. Some celebs can be EXTRA! |
