OMG, how would Paul not know better. I get Marshall not getting it, but Paul is his manager. I sure hope this does not end up coming back on Eminem because he has a lame manager/lawyer. I hate to say this, but another example why it is important to always rotate in younger new blood with fresher ideas and people who clearly understand how these evolving platforms work. Fingers crossed the Bored Ape was just for fun and he received no compensation for it. Because if they went after Kim, they are obviously looking at other people as well.

And he has investments on other marketplaces: Even if he gets fined for rich people like them it's probably pocket change, maybe his legal was aware and just don't care. The BAYC he "supposedly" bought is below 100k now He is listed as Project/Partner on the website of the people that transferred the ape to the current wallet: I'm very intrigued in what this will result for him 🤔

He has to be extra careful because he is one of the few celebs who have fans who will; blindly follow him off a cliff if he told them to. (Okay, maybe I exaggerating a bit there, but you get what I am saying)

I am part of the 75% you mention. I don't even make half of 100k in a year and the economy is not great. People like me will buy merch, music, maybe even spaghetti. But rent and food come before an overpriced digital image of something that doesn't remind them of Em or the reasons they love Em. It was such a bad idea and I stg a lot of it imo was related to the Snoop beef and using the buzz from that to make money while at the same time smoothing things over and setting up a new precedent for future deals in the wake of the Superbowl and Snoop having bought death row. It's like no one involved in the process ever stepped back and THOUGHT. I bet it never sat right with Em (just spec) but unlike Kanye who for all his problems knew to tell his people to stop pushing NFTs at him because he and his fans are about tangible product, Em took a leap of faith and/or caved because Snoop, Snoop's son, Paul, Royce, his boys, and some slick tech bros all made a very good case that NFTs are the next big thing that the young people will eat up like candy. I don't blame Em but I wish he had the hindsight to think of himself as a young man pre-fame with $100 in his pocket and the chance to get a special piece of rap memorabilia he could hold or a vaguely hip-hop adjacent image that someone else insists is better by virtue of being more exclusive. Maybe if he connected more with his old self he wouldn't have put his name on a scam. This is not a defense but one thing I will say is it seems like Em was not the only one fooled. It's backfiring on Kim K whose entire life is dedicated to staying relevant and who pays highly qualified people--not friends from back in the day--millions of dollars to keep her name associated with current trends. Even with that in mind though, everyone was so epically out of touch with what the average fan will spend their money on (except Kanye lmao).

And as an artist too, how these web scrappers just steal the art from websites and mint it without the artists consent, I'm sure he can relate to his art being taken from him :/ How the original artist for the "Apes" gets no credit? How a lot of the designs are just generated by algorithms? Just complete lack of artistic integrity 💔 I feel they probably sold it to him like just other expensive collectible for rich fans but it's just not the same at all :/

I think it was given to him and other celebs as part of their payment, because I do believe he was paid to promote that Bored Ape, because why of all the things HE DOESN'T do he decides to partake in that including performing at the VMAs. I also think eh did it for Snoop.

Yep, I'm 100% on him/his team never buying anything, the ape was transfered to an anonymous wallet from the Six.xyz wallet who are the ones that paid the 123 eth coins, it was all part of the promotion.

Class Action lawsuit against celebrities that promoted NFTs. I don't see Em included in this one but he practically did the same, he got paid to pretend he bought a token at an inflated price.

It looks like only these are being sued: Plaintiffs Adonis Real and Adam Titcher, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, bring this action against Yuga Labs, Inc. (“Yuga” or the “Company”), Wylie Aronow, Greg Solano, Kerem Atalay, Zeshan Ali, Nicole Muniz, Jasmin Shoemaker, Patrick Ehrlund, Christopher Lyons (the “Executive Defendants”), Alexis Ohanian, Amy Wu, Maaria Bajwa, Dean Steinbeck (the “Ape DAO Board Defendants”), Guy Oseary, Mike Winkelmann, Madonna Louise Ciccone, Paris Hilton, James Fallon, Electric Hot Dog, Inc., Universal Television, LLC, Justin Bieber, Gwyneth Paltrow, Serena Williams, Thomas Pentz, Austin Richard Post, Calvin Broadus, Jr., Kevin Hart, Alexander Pall, Andrew Taggart, Wardell Stephen Curry II, Nayvadius Wilburn Cash, Abel Tesfaye, Khaled Mohammed Khaled, adidas America Inc., adidas Ventures B.V. (the “Promoter Defendants”), Ivan Soto-Wright, and MoonPay USA LLC (“MoonPay,” and together with Ivan Soto-Wright, the “MoonPay Defendants”)Perhaps Eminem only did it as a favor to Snoop, but didn't receive money for it. Then he may not be liable if he did not profit for the use of his association. Poor Marshall, they drag him out his man cave just to get tangled in this mess.

Maybe because he didn't work directly with Yuga Labs but through another company called Six.xyz (for the overpriced BAYC) he is still listed under "projects & partners" on their website 🤔

Crypto feels dead. So you'll see a lot of lawsuits like this of people trying to get their money back. I'm not sure if the lawsuits will be successful.

Honestly if Em and Paul get sued good tbh
It’s what they deserve. Maybe Paul won’t be a lazy fuck anymore and quits jumping into stupid ass schemes just because a bunch of losers stroked his ego enough
I swear Paul is victim to anyone who kisses his ass cuz I’m sure Em doesn’t and it pisses him off
Research and use critical thinking skills u big dumb ass especially when dealing with 100s of thousands of dollars wasted
And maybe it will convince Em to grow a backbone and consider new management or at least get second opinions before doing dumbass shit like this
