Dr. Dre — 2001 is the fifth biggest selling rap album in the U.S. since Nielsen Music began tracking sales in 1991. Ahead of it are 50 Cent’s Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ (8.4 million), Nelly’s Country Grammar (8.6 million), Eminem’s The Eminem Show (10.7 million) and Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP (11 million).-Billboard Pretty cool that Interscope/ Shady Records took 4 of the top 5 spots. And that Em personally had something to do with all 4 of them. I really enjoy 2001; it's a great album.

Forbes Lists "Top Earning Hip-Hip Acts Of Past 10 Years" www.southpawer.com/2016/09/08/forbes-lists-top-earning-hip-hip-acts-of-past-10-years/Forbes Reports: Eminem proved you can still earn nine figures from nothing but music; he cashes in on his extensive catalogue of hits with lucrative live shows. Though 50 Cent has not appeared on the ranking since 2014 after a 2015 bankruptcy filing decimated his earnings, the Queens native still lands on this list from dollars deposited earlier in the decade. His biggest windfall: Coca-Cola’s $4.1 billion purchase of Vitaminwater parent Glacéau, in which 50 owned a stake. The 2007 sale netted him some $100 million. Dr. Dre accounted for one fifth of the cumulative $4.5 billion total earned by Hip-Hop Cash Kings in the last 10 years, banking more than any other rap star thanks largely to Apple’s $3 billion Beats buyout in 2014. #10 – Snoop Dogg (124M) #9 – Eminem (151M) #8 – Lil Wayne (161M) #7 – Drake (163M) #6 – Pharrell Williams (165.5M) #5 – Kanye West (224.5M) #4 – 50 Cent (238.5M) #3 – Puff Diddy (435M) #2 – Jay Z (501.5M) #1 – Dr. Dre (923M)

BILLBOARD LISTS “THE 10 HIGHEST SELLING RAP ALBUM SERIES OF ALL TIME”At more than 11 million sales, the original Marshall Mathers LP alone has outsold every other collection on this list. On its own, MMLP 2‘s 2.4 million sales would have just missed the top 10 mark. I love when stuff like this validates Em's hard work and contribution to the industry! :6z
