Unfortunately, as time goes by so does EM. He's definitely not as relevant as he once was and taking so long between albums, and the lack of appearances, doesn't help. As the saying goes (pun)..."Absence makes the heart grow absent." I'm sure once he drops his new album, and depending on the songs, EM will be back in the limelight again.

I don't wanna sound dumb but I mourned a bit that he's not the person with the most EMA awards anymore he had the most EMAs for so many years... And to think who he lost to now

Another way to look at it, he's 10th without an album in the last 3 years. People are still listening.

All he needs to do is to drop something and I'm sure he'll be back in most #1 positions all over again.

Billboard Top 200 this week: #100 The Eminem Show (+97) #124 Curtain Call: The Hits (-37) #158 Recovery (+10) #190 MMLP2 (-16) Pretty impressive, given the fact Em hasn't put a damn thing out in the longest time. And Lol with TES at 100. That came out, what, 14 years ago? Hahaha. Em's always relevant.

Drake beats Em's Billboard record. Am I the only one that can't stand Drake's album? It's not even hip hop, but more R&B.

Drake beats Em's Billboard record. Am I the only one that can't stand Drake's album? It's not even hip hop, but more R&B. It's also slightly misleading because streaming wasn't counted as part of album sales when Em set that record. Drake dominates in the streaming world.

Dr. Dre — 2001 is the fifth biggest selling rap album in the U.S. since Nielsen Music began tracking sales in 1991. Ahead of it are 50 Cent’s Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ (8.4 million), Nelly’s Country Grammar (8.6 million), Eminem’s The Eminem Show (10.7 million) and Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP (11 million).
