I liked the podcast.
I have mixed feelings on their relationship... Sometimes i think Paul is the bad guy but after listening I noticed that Em liked to point out things Paul was wrong about 😂 (relapse 2 leaked songs, didn't like Not Afraid at 1st Etc) I'm sure team meeting have to be "fun" from both sides! 🤣

I love that Em’s mouth sometimes can’t say the lyrics he’s written!! 😂 makes him more human lol
I feel like 60% of his lyrics are tongue twisters for me lmao! I can think the lyrics in my head but my mouth just can’t keep up

Did anyone else feel like that podcast ended abruptly? Like I know Marshall said he has to go to the bathroom, but like Paul could have come back and said stay tuned for more scoop next week or something. Did Em just get bored and say "I'm out"?  Oh it was a full week bathroom break lmao 😂😂 |

I don't know how he's even alive after taking 70-80 Valium a night.
This was a long, long time ago so don't judge me too harshly...I used benzos recreationally in college a few times. Once, I didn't know that what is called a Xanax "bar" is 3 doses. So I took two bars, thinking it was 2 doses when it was actually 6.
I hallucinated for two days and was nearly (probably should have been) hospitalized. This was an equivalent to 6 mgs...and Em took EIGHTY? REGULARLY? I can't imagine. Plus benzo withdrawal alone can kill you. He must have been on crazy medication to come down.

Okay I saw a side by side of Em and Hailie with their podcast mic and beats and it looks like she might have given him hers to borrow So this multimillionaire stopped the flow of his daughter's podcast to use her gear instead of just dropping $200 on his own? SMH But I bet it is cute that she set it up for him and showed him what to do. That part is cute. OR maybe she went and bought him his own set and was like "Dad you can't be on a video podcast in your AirPods. We will get you some gear." Maybe that is his early b-day gift. I'd rather believe that scenario.  |

OK-so I just listened to the podcast. Someone uploaded it to YouTube. I thought it was mainly Paul asking Em if he remembered this album and the songs on it and Em just mainly saying, "ummhmm...yep". I mean he did expand on a few of the questions but it was mainly Paul saying, "remember when". I found it kinda annoying to be honest. Maybe Part II will be better but I'm not holding my breathe. I mean it is more than we have heard from him in like 5 years, but really not that much.
I was also kinda surprised at the things he doesn't remember...or how many times Paul had to jog his memory on stuff. I guess he does so much on each album and also in between that he can remember it all.
I was surprised to hear that Bruno totally changed his chorus on Lighters and his team worked on some of the production to make it better. I love Bruno Mars and I love that song. So I guess there were a few nuggets of info I didn't know before. I also didn't know about him clogging the toilet at Rick Rubin's house. I can't believe he just left it there for someone else to find. What a goofball.
Oh, one last thing that annoyed me about Paul was he kept referring to Em's work or working on his album as "we". "We needed this for that album", "We wanted this song to be a hit". I guess he and Em work in tandem and Em must not mind. While we are always talking about how Paul has tight controls over Em, I'm now thinking that is how Em views their relationship and he's ok with it. I don't know. I still don't like Paul. Maybe I'm being irrational.
