Him stepping out of the public eye has been happening for quite some time, I mean less talk show appearances, interviews with people he knows personally only, short and strange telephone interventions in Shade 45, a few minutes at his restaurant opening, etc I don't think he's going to retire from making music he said that it is the only thing he can do well lol, but I get the feeling that we're going to see his face only when he feels like doing something interesting or a favour to someone. In the article he wrote for XXL magazine he mentioned Redman and how he wanted a career like that, respect from his peers and fame but not to the level he eventually got. He was very impressed by Kendrick's album that he felt the need to tweet, so the huger and passion to compete with other rappers is still there. He's just not bothered by the other shit that goes along with being a huge star . I don’t think he’s retiring tomorrow but I think he’s pretty much semi retired and gonna put out one or two albums with limited press and then call it quits at like 55-60 with maybe some fun projects in between I’m also just saying this last Paul episode was the first time Paul actually admitted that Em just ain’t doing shit if he doesn’t want to which he seemed to be a bit in denial for a while And if they are both on the same page goood because Em looking miserable and super anxious half of his appearances this year pissed me off

Considering this year he performed at the Super Bowl, VMAs, and the Rock and Roll HOF I'm not too bothered if he doesn't want to do a full fledged tour. I think they were just trying to convey that it's difficult to get him to perform not so much that he doesn't want to do anything period.

I really enjoy the episode with Dennis. Hopefully the Paul pods continue. This was interesting. Is it crazy to want him to sit down with Marshall's stylist and talk about his look for events and how his style has evolved over the years.

It's interesting that Paul is digging deep to keep his podcast going. I Melba you would think he would gave done the "8 Mile" interview in November when the anniversary happened. But I read that Sirius 1st quarter subscription were down 79,000 for self-pay and paid subscriptions combined. But a recent report says that as of the 3rd quarter, Sirius is up 138,000 as of the Nov. 1st mark. Paul started his podcast in Aug.-Sept. During that time they had a promo of 3 months free to try the platform, coincidentally a successful close to a quarter. I wonder how many listeners Shade45 brings in and if they needed to pick up their traffic and that is why we got the podcast. I'm sure their contract with Sirius has a set goal of listeners and they can track signups associated with listening behavior. It's definitely interesting! www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/siriusxm-third-quarter-earnings-subscribers-pandora-1235251826/

Oh yes, I forgot about that. Yep, Paul's projects might be biting him in the patootie and Marshall is like "Dude you're on your own, I never wanted a radio station anyway."
