I might be asking a dumb question but I've never done drugs or even drank, is it possible that Marshall looks the way he does like bored and not interested is because he is high or on drugs now? Or is that not the case because when he was on drugs in the past he act more wild? IN 2006 footage he looked out of it, but that was the height of his addiction I assume. Pre sobriety that was what drugs can do especially uppers and pain killers. 06-07 especially 07 and his Shade45 shows were the worst. I just don’t see how they all can say they didn’t know how bad off he was. BULLSHIT. Did they not listen to him while he was talking? His speech was slurred and he was making no sense. That’s why EVERYONE on his team gets a side eye from me Paul/Tracey/his assistant etc they saw him physically and sat in on interviews. They knew. I don’t think they had any big impact on him becoming sober. The sadness or or the way he looks now is just him. He’s just not a happy person. The drugs made him more peppy. That makes sense shimy and I agree with you, there is no way they did not know about his issue. I know people said that Proof was the only one who stepped in and encouraged them to cancel that 2005 tour. Sometimes I wonder if Proof's death was not a coincidence. Still such a weird story to me on how it happened. |

The animation was not even well made :/ OMG THEY TOTALLY RIPPED OFF GORILLAZ. This was 14 years ago...check out the animated gorillas at 2:13: yeah!! I was happy at first 'cos I thought they were actually making a collab but then I read about it and I was like WTF?, Gorillaz has been doing this since 2001 (they even have a song with D12 called 911, Em was not in London, but the rest of the band were stranded and Damon called them up) They have performed at the back of the screen from day one but then they realized that people ,though they enjoyed the visuals, were not connecting with them. Apart the technology at that time didn't allow them to blast the volume up and that's what happened when they played together with Madonna at an awards shows. I went to see them this year and It was amazing, the visuals were awesome but just at the back and they were playing like a normal band. THis was a cheap version of a video game. I mean there were IG stories where the director was recording like a week before the show I guess they decided to go there at the last minute 'cos everything seemed rushed, Em had a double for the animation part lol c'mon dude that's not cool. |

I think Em is 100% sober
I think he struggled mentally with his sobriety a little judging by his new use this gospel verse
But Em is so all or nothing that I doubt he dabble know weed and looked pissed when the giant ape was blowing shit in his face

I hope the kids watched this and texted dad like wtf was that? Don’t ever do that again. Maybe that might wake him up and see how dumb the whole idea was. I remember in an interview for Revival with Michel Martin for NPR, she asked him about what his daughters say about his work and music he said something to the nature (and I am paraphrasing) "they non dad will be dad." and basically stated they don't say anything to him about his work and music. So, I am sure that is a zone most people tread lightly telling him something they think might upset him or hurt his feelings. But maybe he might ask their thoughts, considering Snoop got this idea form his son. I think they may throw some hints to what they're listening and what artists they are following. Hailie goes to a lot of festivals as well as Alaina, and according to her podcast she likes seeing and discovering new artists/ bands. Stevie is into some British band idk the name and if I remember correctly she loved one direction. Maybe some constructive criticism from his family will make him wake up, but I doubt they would do that. |

Too bad Marshall is so sensitive because he could probably get a lot of good feedback from his children who likely know what is hot right now. Thing is, it seems like Marshall still has a hard time trusting people, except Paul and Tracy. That is how corruption happens when you have people with too much power and they start to get greedy. Marshall is like their piggy bank at this point. SMH |
