It was in the Slaughterhouse thread, which matty needs to discuss her dislike of SL, especially Royce, so she created the political thread and the whole thing died down. Nobody on here has a problem with Stevie and s/he trying to figure stuff out. However, if you would like we can discuss the clusterfuck that is the withdraw from Afghanistan. |

I agree with pulling out of the country. I thought we should have pulled out during Obama, then Trump and now finally Biden. What I don't understand is how Biden could fuck this up so bad. I don't get why he didn't evacuate all American's and SIV's out of the country before pulling the troops. We know what the Taliban is capable of and what they would do. It's never been a secret. Now I'm reading today that US Generals in Kubal are telling our allied forces not to go get their people and bring them to the airport because it is making the US look bad. I don't know how much truth there is to that, but at this point, I'm likely to believe it is true. But yes, this is a clusterfuck unlike any clusterfuck we have ever seen. And Biden decided to take a vacation during all this? There has to be more going on that we don't know. |

For reference, I have been vaccinated with the one shot Jansen (Johnson & Johnson) and have no problems wearing a mask indoors. And here in Germany, youāre required to wear FFP2 masks, I think theyāre called N95ā s in the US, whenever you go into an indoor public spaceā¦ when the incidence rate gets above a certain percent, you also have to wear it in the outdoor ātouristā destinations. But seriously, get it or donāt, why has it become so political? The only thing Iām struggling with is whether or not I should let my 14 y/o son get it. He wants it, and I vaccinated him against everything I could when he was a babyā¦ but what if something is wrong with the vaccine?! If I tell our doctor Iām okay with him getting the vaccine, then itās luck of the draw what vaccine will be available that week. And Iām only comfortable with the Jansen because itās one of those that donāt āmess with your DNAā, whatever that means. Ugh! We live in such confusing times. And please, Iām only looking for respectful arguments for or against. I'm with you...I have gotten my 2 shots, will be getting the booster tomorrow. But I don't get mad at people who refuse to get the vaccine. I figure we live in a free country. That means you have the freedom to be dumb and make dumb decisions. It's not worth getting into a fight over or trying to shame someone. If you believe what we are being told, if you get the shot then you are protected. If someone else doesn't have the shot and you do, it shouldn't affect you. Either the vaccine works or it doesn't. |

How is this okay? I stopped watching the news the other day when Biden gave a brief news conference, spoke about COVID and nothing else and refused to take questions. It makes me sick what is happening. I also think Biden isn't all there and that is why we see so little of him and he isn't taking questions. Sometimes I think this chaos is being created on purpose because no one can be this incompetent. But then I don't know what the reason would be. All I know if come September 1 we still have Americans and allies there, the US had better go get them out or I think all hell will break lose here. It is unconscionable to leave citizens stranded in a 3rd world, war torn country. This whole thing is just suck a clusterfuck. It is unreal how badly this draw down has been implemented. |

Impeachment is not an option though, right? Thatās what weāre led to believe, anyway. We tried to impeach Trump, twice. No dice. It must be a broken system, if they couldnāt penalize the most evil man on earth, Right?

I don't think it is a good idea to continue to impeach each President because the other side doesn't like them. That is not healthy for the country as a whole. Besides, I think Harris would actually be worse than Biden. But I also don't think Biden is all there. Did you see the picture of his meeting with the Prime Minister from Israel? I also noticed that he only holds press conferences during the day instead of evening like all the other Presidents have done. I'm telling you, there is something wrong with him. I will be shocked if he makes it the full 4 years. Who knows if Em will mention this in any of his songs on the album that he for sure is working on and will be releasing any day now...right? Probably because he usually does mention current events in some form. |
