Well, that 11 minute "Kick Off" battle, brought to us by EM, isn't going to get "Bodied" into the movie theaters or better distribution. Amazing how Joseph Kahn literally disappeared off the map with the soundtrack...Bye, Bye Bodied!

Should have cut everything but the last two minutes. All the stuff before that was a gross mess. And it's battle rap, but who's he battling? That's the problem for him -- he needs a focus, and no one is giving it to him

He had a mission and executed perfectly I really like revival but u can tell it’s hard for him to get genuinely personally now a days without being too cautious and second thinking himself. There was no second guessing with kamikaze That’s why I’m an advocate for a concept album or a story album. He can focus on a story the whole album and won’t have to worry about being too personal Though I still say this year has been epic so I feel bad for being so harsh on one quick freestyle he did lol |

Plus it’s a freestyle so that’s kind of what ur supposed to do especially when promoting bodied I really liked Good Guy on kamikaze I hope in the future he tries to use more beats like that and a calmer flow Idk I feel bad for him cuz he is working so hard to impress ppl. Like a little puppy that just keeps coming back being like look what I did!!!! Only to have ppl boop him on the nose and tell him no lol And people are so hard on him to the point that no matter what he does he can’t win. Revival was full of content and ppl say they miss crazy em..he put out kamikaze and people say they miss content... it’s like the industry just has been picking on him. They don’t do that shit to other OGs like LL and stuff. If Em sales kept flopping for his standards I’m sure he would have gotten the hint but it’s the fact that ppl who say they were fans and haven’t accomplished half of what he did that keep just bashing him is what makes me mad. If u don’t like his shit just leave him alone. But anyway yeah I hope this freestyle was just super random to make up for lack of a soundtrack you know? And the stuff he is working on will be left field again. I’m still advocating for a concept album damn it |

brianna I mean true. I will admit Em stopped maturing at like 25/26 In some ways it makes him appear to have some sort of vulnerability to him and makes him good at what he does and in other ways it stunts him creatively and emotionally Happens to most famous people tbh
