nelly well that was a good point you stated. And I know depression from really close too and I think I may be going through a small phase right now and I feel really bad for Kim, imagine she must feel really alone and I just wanna hug her and I agree with your post 100%. Truth is we don´t have a clue about anything and most of the times we just speculate about everything and everyone and those are people we´re judging (I mean in a good and bad way too), people with real feelings and a lot of things going on in their life that we don´t even know about. In the end, I just hope Kim, Em, the girls and everyone have the support they need from anyone that is needed. PS: sorry to hear you´re gone through something like this, I know how it feels and I´m glad you passed it  Thanks, that dark time is behind me now! I'm sorry to hear that you are going through a tough time. Try to monitor your thoughts throughout the day and make a conscious effort to clear your mind when negative thoughts get out of control. I personally think practicing gratitude every day for even the simplest things is a great weapon against depression. Remind yourself that what you are going through is only temporary. Hugs! It's true, they have become these characters that we judge based on assumptions. Sometimes, shit gets real! |

First off, I want to say congrats and thanks for the new message board! It was sad to see Shadycamp close down but I'm glad that this new platform was created, honestly couldn't be bothered to look for the latest news in a thousand different places lol. Kudos to you ladies for having the patience to keep this place alive! And sorry for the long post ahead! I've been a fan of Eminem for about 15 years and if there is one thing I know for sure is that we know close to nothing about his current personal life. We used to get most of the information from his interviews and music but he's been so secretive about everything since their second divorce. I believed Kim when she went on the radio and exposed his drug use but most of his hardcore fans swore she was making it all up out of spite back then. I don't blame them, there was no evidence to corroborate that accusation. The fact that he was able to hide this huge chunk of his life for about 4 years (and not even mention it in his autobiography) is quite impressive and just proves to us that we can't rely on gossip because the people in his circle are super loyal. I think that's why most popular fan boards pretty much died down circa 2006. There is almost nothing to gossip about, no reliable sources. And then we find out out of nowhere that Kim was involved in a DUI/suicide attempt, what, 6/7 months after the fact? Not one word about this massive info on Facebook or whatever gossip source people rely on? That just shows me that social media gossip is mostly bullshit or just stuff people extrapolate from the occasional slip up from their kids online. I'd love to know who are these people that know for a fact that he is back on drugs but didn't know that Kim drove into a pole. I have to say, it was heartbreaking to hear Kim's latest Mojo interview. She obviously has a lot on her plate and hated having to share her mistakes on a public platform. From all accounts, she never wanted to be famous and obviously has trust issues when it comes to confiding in friends which can only exacerbate her depressive state. I guess having people you considered family write a tell all book about you will do that to you. I used to think that suicide was a selfish act but after going through my own depression phase filled with suicide ideation a few years ago, I have a whole different perspective on the subject. When I contemplated suicide, life just became meaningless. Didn't matter that I had friends and family that loved me and that I loved, at that point I had completely lost interest in life itself. Nothing would excite me, I would try super hard to enjoy what I had but it's like something in my head was just off. Took me a few months to get out of that funk but it had to come from me. I never even came close to actually committing suicide so I can only imagine her state of mind when she drank a bottle of Malibu and aimed for that pole. I don't think a jail sentence or rehab will do anything to help her. If anything, it could push her into the edge even more, one more reason to think that life is just one obstacle after the next. She will have to face the consequences for her actions but it's nothing to rejoice about. I get why people would be upset, it was reckless and she could have hurt someone else but I will give her the benefit of the doubt when she says she purposely chose that road because she knew it was deserted. It's just speculation but I think she chose to commit suicide that way because she didn't want her kids to think she killed herself. It could easily be interpreted as a car accident. It's nice to hear that her family is supportive, hopefully that will give her the motivation to get better. It doesn't surprise me that Eminem is sympathetic, he also has a history of self destructive behavior and suicidal thoughts. If you've lived through it, you can't help but empathize. Hey nelly ! That was just a great post! I am going through the darkness myself so believe me I know! Thats why I feel for Kim and Em both. And sparrow please be sure to feed and water the rapper, ok sweetie?!! |

I hate that all those reporters were following her out of the court room, she couldn't even walk to her car in peace. If there is any doubt she is in a bad place right now, I believe this court appearance should end them. |

Trial date set in Kim Mathers' drunken driving caseA plea deal was not reached Monday in Kim Mathers’ drunken driving case and instead a trial date was set for next month. Judge Douglas Shepherd of 41A District Court in Shelby Township scheduled a July 20 trial date on accusations Mathers was intoxicated when she crashed her Cadillac Escalade into a utility pole last fall in Macomb Township. Mathers has said the incident was a suicide attempt. Mathers’ attorney, Mike Smith, and Macomb Township attorney Paul Addis, who is prosecuting the case, briefly met behind closed doors at the courthouse but failed to reach a deal in the case. The trial date was set in court. Mathers did not appear at the hearing. Addis after the hearing would not say whether he offered a deal for Mathers to plead guilty to a lower offense but said negotiations are ongoing. Smith said the trial date doesn’t necessary mean Mathers is “fighting” the charge. But he added, “That (a trial) looks like where we’re headed.” Smith said he still could appeal Shepherd’s May 26 denial of Smith’s requests to dismiss the charge or evidence against her. “I’m aggressively representing her,” he said. In his motions, Smith alleged legal mistakes were made when the same police officer referred her for a psychiatric evaluation and gained consent for a blood draw, police left her name off a document seeking the blood draw and a magistrate from a different division of 41A District Court approved the warrant for the draw. Mathers, the ex-wife of rap superstar Eminen, drove a Cadillac Escalade into a utility pole Oct. 7 at 23 Mile Road and Card in Macomb Township, causing the vehicle to flip and land in a ditch. She told police she drank “like a fifth” of Malibu rum and deliberately crashed the vehicle. Mathers, 41, of Macomb Township, was taken to a psychiatric facility and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Her court file was sealed for a time on her request but subsequently was unsealed. I doubt jail time. Especially under the circumstances. I don't live in Michigan but must judges in my state would order counseling and maybe suspend her license but probably not even that . Her attorney might want probation before judgement so it isn't on her criminal record.

It must not even be sex but maybe really close friends and I fear he might be back on pills. I don't got any prove, so don't ask me for any. But when he looked weird leaving Jimmys wedding I already had a bad feeling. Then Alaina didn't post about him being sober on April 20th this year and I think she did every year. And then there were people from Michigan on Facebook claiming he is back on pills. do u have the fb links? he sounded good on shade45 recently |

Last they heard Kim was a coke head and Em popped pills and wrote songs about her and his mother. I didn't take them as credible at all. Other commentators seemed more credible like the people that were actually there when the crash happened, and one person who I believe property was damaged by the crash said Kim had not made any attempts to reimburse for the damage etc. The reason I say they seem more credible was because their name was the same as the name on the news broadcast. |

Insurance reality is that Kim would not make any attempts to reimburse for any damage, her insurance company would and that person would have to file a claim through their insurance company against hers. I'm sure anyone who incurred damages would have Kim's info. It's the American way. |
