Ok... this is sad and a surprise. I didn't even know about any DUI last year and now this. I hope she will get better. No one knew before last week when it hit the news. So sad! I'm just curius, if this all happened in october, why did it come out now, 6 months later? I'm sure her documents were sealed long ago. And she hasn't been to court yet. A local reporter got a tip. |

Well I guess it's good for Kim and the kids, if she's feeling bad and recovering from a suicide attempt the last thing she needs are reporters running around, and all the comments about her, whether they're true or not |

I got the impression from the local news broadcast that she just recently went into court for this. They showed her in a courtroom, and then the reporter trying to speak to her as she drove off, he was only able to speak to her lawyer. I figured that was what triggered this. They did a real good job of keeping it hidden, I mean even the people who helped her out of the car didn't blast it all over social media etc. |

My heart broke for her as I heard her crying during that Mojo interview ... especially when she described seeing her sister dead. Oh my God. The poor woman. I really hope she is getting all the help she needs.

Kim Mathers' DUI case will move forwardSHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Kim Mathers, Eminem's ex-wife, was back in a Shelby Township courtroom on Thursday. Mathers is accused of getting drunk and crashing her SUV into a utility pole in October. She told police she drank a 5th of rum. She also told a firefighter she did it intentionally in attempt to commit suicide. Her defense attorney tried to have the case dismissed based on what he believed was a faulty warrant for her blood and improper consent due to her state of mind. The judge disagreed and is moving the case forward. Mathers is supposed to be back in court next month. Her case made headlines when Local 4 uncovered the police dashcam video from the crash. I don't know...if I was going to court, I think I would wear something a little more appropriate. Jeans and a low cut t-shirt just seems kinda low class.

Time to get some more plastic surgery...  I have nothing against Kim, but at 40 it's obvious she has mental health issues and needs to get the help she deserves. This "suicide" incident must be hard on the girls as it's an extremely selfish act on her part. Grow up, Kim, you have more than most, and you should grateful for being in the right place at the right time. Though, I do confess, regardless of her and EM relationship when they were younger he did treat her like shit the second he got famous. |

As horrible as it might sound, I think it was right that they didn't drop her case. No matter how sad and suicidal she might be, she deserves to get something for the DUI and crash. She could've killed someone. I hope she gets the help she needs and I hope she's feeling better but I still thinks she needs to "pay" for what she did somehow, like community service and mandatory counseling.

As horrible as it might sound, I think it was right that they didn't drop her case. No matter how sad and suicidal she might be, she deserves to get something for the DUI and crash. She could've killed someone. I hope she gets the help she needs and I hope she's feeling better but I still thinks she needs to "pay" for what she did somehow, like community service and mandatory counseling. She said she is in counseling. I agree that she needs some type of punishment, especially considering she did this on purpose. I think she actually deserves jail time - like 30 days in jail. This isn't her first DUI and again, she did this on purpose. The last time she was in jail it seemed to help her get clean. Maybe another stint in jail will give her the motivation she needs to quit drinking again. |

Also last time she was in jail she was also in rehab for, was it 90 days? I mean she needs to get something but I'm just not sure jail is the best solution. Idk maybe I'm wrong |
