Just want to know what everyone thoughts or opinion is does he fall back and wait another 4 yrs to release another album or keep going. Not alot of people have been feeling this new album its been called trash or classic , i personally like the album better than relapse but i just think the roll-out and the songs he put out were Trash but the album was good, I hope he doesn't leave us again like he did after MMLP2..Im happy to hear he is doing Coachella this year which is GREAT (not confirmed yet) I think for Eminem stuff to be more successful i think we need to see him out more in the US doing more shows for us,even doing more features on songs he is still the GREATEST OF THEM ALL..I want him to be like Jimmy in 8mile,dont let the critics break him, thats why i feel like he always comes back harder when people are doubting him, he always proves them wrong. sorry if its too long to read

I hope he uses the criticism as motivation to come back stronger. It's hard to tell if he's reached a point where he doesn't let critics get to him or if he is acting like it doesn't bother him.

I agree...I also hope he doesn't instead just go back and hide in his hole. He appears to be more comfortable with the internet this time around, maybe he will start to use social media a bit more to keep himself out there? If that is what he wants to do.

IMO, it is not a criticism but moaning and crying of all the butt-hurt Trump supporters he held the mirror up to. He would most likely wonder what he did wrong if they weren't choking on the bitter bile right now. If all these people weren't sputtering and trying to come up with all kind of insults for him, it would mean his music on this album wasn't strong and impactful enough. This is the type of album where overly positive reactions would mean a failure. It would mean his words weren't powerful enough to hit a nerve. If he's actually already thinking about another album, my guess is his intention is to push even harder, to make the critics even more angry so they would lose it and expose their true self. This album helped to expose so many latent racists and chauvinists on the social media. Their impulsive reaction caused their masks to slip, showing their followers who they really were. This is not easy to achieve these days so he should be proud he did it.

Like, were they not around in the Bush era? Everyone who knows Eminem well enough just knew that trump would get verbally bitch slapped at his next album. And I couldn´t wait for it. I hope you´re right with your guess. He should just keep going and piss off the people even more.

He should just use the fuel he is given now to produce another album. If I were him, I would get tired of all these people who just can´t accept the fact that he´s grown. That he evolves like every other artist during their career. I know that he is really sensitive when it comes to critics, and that a lot of people just keep hating since relapse, but most people are just jumping on the band wagon anyway. I can wait a year. Or two. But I don´t want to wait for another 4 years for the next album. I think of the SSLP and the MMLP. After the SSLP was released and he got attacked for his harsh lyrics, he was back with the MMLP two years later and pissed them off even more. It would be great if he did just that with all his critics and all these dumbass trump supporters. And I wish there will be more rappers on the album this time. I really enjoyed Alicia Keys and Ed on Revival. But it would be great to hear someone like Snoop and Royce again.

EM will retreat into his bat cave, but not because of the reviews but because he's a creature of habit. "Recovery" was a major hit and it took him years to put out "MMLP2" and then it took him years to put out "Revival" and it will take him just as many years to put out another album. If he has it in him! It's just the way EM operates.

Relapse came out May of 2009 and Recovery came out June of 2010,if i was him i wouldn't go back to hiding i think he needs to do more shows and do some songs with other people and possibly come out with another album next November or early Jan of 2019

He needs to go back to his old style/flow. I hate his choppy, overly aggressive flow. It's ok for a couple of songs but not almost everyone of them. He sounds like he can't hear the beat. Also, NO MORE RUBIN. I know he was a legend at one time but he and Em don't mesh. Go back to Dre and the Bass brothers.

His choppy aggressive one ruined what could have been good songs No more Rubin, Pink, or Skylar. Get Dre, and self produce

I don't necessarily like when artists bend to the will of critics but I do expect that Em's next project will be in part a response to Revival's reviews. And I wouldn't be surprised if his next project comes out late 2018 or early 2019. Recovery was a direct response to Relapse's reviews and that came out a year later. I do think Revival has some singles that they should give time to succeed, The River is progressing nicely on radio. However, if the plan was for Em to sign with Def Jam, maybe they had a plan for Em to release something next year anyway.

Really he just needs a more discerning executive producer.

The album has potential singles like Believe and Need me though. But I think he needs to work with new and fresh producers not going back with Dre and his old producers, cause the magic, the formula only happen once in a lifetime. Artists like Rihanna never sound dated cause they evolve musically giving chance to new producers and song writers who can give you your best songs.
Luis Resto’s catchy melodies are missing in this album though. (He only has one song in the album ‘Believe’ and that’s the most successful on Spotify after River.)
I think it’s important that Em keeps him around cause Resto has a good ear for melodies unlike Rubin. He seems more into loud beats like Berzeck which I never liked.

Rihanna never sounds dated because she isn't a rapper, she's a manufactured autotuned Pop Star! EM needs to go back to the basics...The Bass Brothers, Dr. Dre and Resto. Don't know if at this stage of his career EM has it in him to jump back on the bandwagon and knock out a new album in a year or so, though I'm sure he has enough material in his vault.
