James McBride, "The Color of Water". Not finished with it but so far a great book. It is a tribute written by a mixed race guy to his white mother. Being a mutt myself, I can identify.

I just read the short story The Grownup by Gillian Flynn It's a real mind-messing book! It was a good story but I wish it would've been a novel, I think it could've been great. Now it kinda felt like it ended as soon as stuff started happening. And it kinda ended just like that, which always pisses me off, like no ending lol.

I read "Gone Girl" and it was really good. I never got around to seeing the movie but I enjoyed the book.

She seems to like these kind of mind messing stories that are a bit sick. I don't know how much the Gone Girl book is like the movie, but if it's the same, this The Grownup was even more psychological than Gone Girl. I'm just pissed about the ending. Feels like I didn't finish the book. Why do authors do that, lol?

As for the book Gone Girl I was so disgusted with both the husband and wife I thought they deserved each other.

Lately I've been reading The Molecular Biology of the Cell by Bruce Alberts, Människans fysiologi (Human Physiology) by Olav Sand, Farmakologi (pharmacology) by Per Norlen and about 200 articles for my thesis I was gonna enjoy a novel last week, but I kept pushing reading it, because I'm so tired of reading. Like I don't feel like reading a word… I managed to read that 60-page short story lol!

After recovering from reading tons of biology for 7 years, I finally finished Stephen King's Dr Sleep, after reading it for, ahem..., 2 years... (and now I wish I could read the discussion about it on SC). So now I just started reading The Tommyknockers by Stephen King. And I'm gonna finish it before 2018!

I feel like I've been into horror my entire life, lol! I just get so bored with some romantic stuff. If I'm not entertained within the like 4 first pages, (or 10 first minutes in a movie) I just leave the book (or movie), and scary books are usually the ones that start that quickly. Well hopefully you'll be done soon too, so you can read what you want! You know, I got my papers may 25th (and officially june 2nd) but I sent in all my papers for evaluation already at the end of april, so I've basically been done for 6 months now, and I STILL feel guilty whenever I watch something or read something. I STILL have that feeling that I shouldn't do this, there's probably something more important I should do, like read for and exam, or write my thesis, or read some article or whatever, lol.

I just finished Dean Koontz’s The Face and man, it might be one of the best books I’ve read!! One of few books that actually got my heartbeat up and I couldn’t put down, and I tried to read faster so the characters wouldn’t run out of time, lol! Definitely recommend if you’re into horror! 👍🏻

Dean Koontz and Stephen King are two of my favorite authors! I have read their books all of my life it seems!
Is it weird that I will read their books but I will not watch a horror movie like, ever?! Sixth Sense is about as scary as I will get.
