THat's what I thought too. Don't really know Elton so not sure if he is the comedic type that would just joke around during the whole interview or if he is going to be tackling serious topics. I imagine recovery will be a major focus but what is there left to say about that subject for Em? I bet Pink is seething internally that Em has been great friends with Elton for all these years and bought him diamonds when all she's got after her long heartfelt email was just "okay" lmao. Give it up girlfriend. I'm sorry but why are ppl so mean to all women that are in Em's life lol She was laughing and joking in the interview and told her "okay" story every chance she gets. Doesn't seem like she is mad at all lol. I'm sure she apparciates Em humor or awkwardness like all of us. Just because a woman is a fan of someone doesn't mean they are desperate or mad at anyone who gets more attention from one of their favs. She just seems like a huge fan and super grateful that he worked with her. And I'm sure he was grateful that she worked with him on Recovery Sorry I hope this doesn't come off bitchy. I just feel like skylar and pink get unwanted hate or are mad fun of a lot when it comes to Em. Em obviously respects both and they are super fans of him so they are gonna geek out when he works with them or even just says "okay" back to a project. Just like I'm sure Em geeked out the first time he hung out with LL or when he got to talk to the actor from the wire lol. If u read their stories about Em you can tell they were confused about his enthusiasm for the show but that's just because he geeked over it. And he will ramble about his favs in his music too Geeking out over things is amazing and just cuz skylar and pink are women doesn't mean that they have alternative motives or get mad at ppl who get more attention Sorry for the bitchy rant. This isn't entirely directed at u. It's just a common theme I see when it comes to women and Em in general and decided to get it off my chest lol I'll be good!!! No worries. Well I'm not sure about everybody else's intentions but I would consider myself an equal opportunity hater lol. I actually hate on Royce and Paul more than anybody else for a number of reasons that I don't care to get into right now. I'm not making fun of her insistence to have a relationship with Em (I don't mean romantic) because she is a girl. I just find it funny that she's been trying so hard to build a personal relationship with him since fucking 2001 and it seems like he made it clear he wants to keep it at a very professional level. That's why I'm saying give it up. Just because she is laughing about it doesn't mean she is not bothered by it. The fact that she keeps talking about it could be a defense mechanism just like how Em makes fun of himself before anyone else does. I mean if I was in her situation I would be disappointed that all my attempts got shut down when I'm sitting next to a dude who has a close relationship with him. I think jealousy in this situation is a natural feeling. I'm not saying she is losing sleep over it either. As for Skylar, I think she is very talented. I just thought it was bit shady the way she completely switched personalities a few years back when she started working with Em and it felt like she was trying to emulate Em to reach the same level of success. I thought it was phony as fuck. How do you go from emo goth girl to trashy provocative girl in your mid/late 20s? Also she kind of used the dating rumors to her advantage when she released Come On Let Me Ride. The girl was fucking married and she would just sit there and smirk when people would ask her about dating Em. I felt that was beneath her to use this as a way to get attention. I don't really have an issue with her beyond that. I think she contributed greatly to Em's career and I think she's become a more authentic artist which I can appreciate. Again I'm not criticizing because they are girls I just like to call out behaviors I don't agree with. |

nelly Aww okay thanks for explaining I still feel bad for skylar because I think I'm ur mid twenties as an artist you are still trying to figure yourself out. Plus Em had a lot to do with her image with the bicycle song. Also remember when Em was like 25? And he did i just don't give a Fuck video? It was kinda goth with no bright colors and he didn't have his blonde hair yet. Then hi my name is came out and the video was full of bright colors and a blonde Emzy lol. Sometimes it takes an artist a few tries until they find an "image" they feel comfortable with. Doesn't make them fake imo just trying to figure it out Anyway I am glad she seemed to have found her way. She went through a rocky period with her image but I think she seems to finally be settled I just have to disagree with the pink thing but everyone interpret things differently and I see your point of view I will say I'm with you in the Royce thing. He retweeted something shady about WoW recently and it made me want to go drive to Detroit and have a talking to his shady ass

It was fabricated so that falls under the fake category in my book. I don't think Em was trying to copy anyone at that time? He was just channeling different aspects of his personality at different times of his career (Marshall/Slim/Eminem) until he was able to merge them all together. I guess agree to disagree about Pink. My point was I'm not hating because they are girls which was the basis of your rant. That's okay we can always bond over our hatred for Royce. So pretty much admitting that Royce was being shady towards Em...interesting. Sad truth is Royce probably has so much "dirt" on Em he would probably be hesitant to cut ties with him if it came down to it. That's why you don't let shady people too close Em. When will he learn? |

I think Forbes is just pointing the finger at the whole PR campaign of EMs album rollout. It's old. Old news. Nothing fresh or original. EMs gotta break the rap barrier on 12/15 or else!
