There is no a woman alive who wants the "be the cow with the free milk". He needs to acknowledge your needs and introduce you as you want. That is not asking too much. If he cannot not do that well, he is not so much your boyfriend but more of a life lesson. Good luck! Wow, I'm besotted with "...be the cow with the free milk."

Is it ok to quit your job after working two days? why??? What happened? :/ Well nothing "happened" happened, but first of all, I've been working in a lab for the past 4 years, but the lab is for PhD students and summer students, and since I graduated, and they prioritize summer students who haven't graduated, they didn't have enough money to hire me this summer, even tho they really wanted to. So after working in a lab for so long I'm back to cleaning at the cleaning firm I was at before I started studying. Which is fine, better than nothing but boring to go from cancer research to cleaning. Second, this cleaning case I got is just horrible, hard and mentally tough. My boss told me I'll get to do a home cleaning on wednesday, and they are "people who doesn't know how to clean, so it'll be a whole day's job". Wednesday morning I found out it's a social services case. Social services has ordered the cleaning. At first I got really scared, I thought about drug addicts with some needles lying around or something, but turns out it was a mom and her teenage son, and the house… omg… If anyone has seen the TV show about hoarders, well I'm cleaning there now. It wasn't a "home cleaning" home cleaning, it was a "let's empty the house so we can find the floors in the house" kind of cleaning. I was there the entire day yesterday and we found the hall floor. We had 4 bags of trash from just the hall that's about 2 x 2 meters, so not very big. There is so much stuff you can't even walk there. And on top of that they have 4 dogs and a cat. Once we found the hall floor, it was covered in dog pee and dog shit. You can't fit in to the kitchen, literally. In the living room, there's the woman's bed in the middle of the room. You can walk from the door to the bed, but that's it, the rest is covered with stuff. And it's empty milk boxes and dried milk on the furniture etc, so the smell is just… that mixed with dog piss. They don't have a dinner table, they just have trays with empty, dirty food plates around their beds. They don't have sheets in their beds, they just sleep there. The kid's room was covered with clothes and empty pizza boxes. And there's cat litter literally everywhere. I can't even go into their bathroom because the smell… sigh, and I'm supposed to be a professional here. In the middle of the living room, there was an empty glass vase upside down, and on top of it a book (not very stable) and on top of that a plastic box with a poisonous tarantula!! The woman told me to try not to let it fall, otherwise it's not very healthy for us. After a full day there today we emptied half the living room, and we've moved the furniture from place to place, cleaning the floor underneath, one corner by one. This is more like a week's job. We still have the rest of the living room tomorrow, and next week the boy's room, the kitchen and the bathroom. Anyways, sorry for the long post! This is just so hard. Some rap god might have heard my thoughts tho again, lol, turns out these people are huge eminem fans and they listened to eminem all day today! Thank rap god!

I didn't quit. I can't quit if I wanna eat, lol! but gosh, I can still feel that smell, and I showered for probably 30 minutes after I came home. ugh. The woman living there is so overweight that her knees have given up and she's possibly facing a life in a wheelchair sooner or later, so she's having a hard time with the cleaning. She's mostly sitting in her bed, telling me what to do. And her temper is a bit weird. Her dogs jump all over her in bed and she's all happy, talking in baby language to them, and then all of a sudden she gets enough and yells at the top of her lungs, with lots of swearwords. Same with her son, she yells at him too. I feel so sorry for these people. I did get to listen to Em all day tho! And they have a D12 necklace hanging in their closet Only thing is they listened to the clean versions (maybe because the son is underage??) so I've listened to the clean versions for the first time in my life lol! But in My Name Is, in their version he said "Am I coming or going? I can barely decide. I just drank a fight of koolaid... aaaahhh" LOL! Lol GG102 how did you manage to post as a guest?

Wow me, that must be overwhelming! I understand folks like that have a lot of mental illness. I have seen that show where they just can not make a decision to throw trash out! This makes me wanna clean up around home! Bleach and Lysol are my best friends! Well try to stick with it, you need the $$ and they need the help! I wish we could see before and after photos but that would probably be very disrespectful.

I feel bad and a little related, I keep organizing my 20 pounds of make up and freak out when the bed's not done and when the dishes pile up or when my boyfriend leaves socks on the floor BUT I have the compulsion of leaving my piles of books all in a corner from the floor to the roof and a pile of clothes on a table in another corner...I guess too messy or too freak are not good so I have both of them haha. Although those people are ill and I feel sad bc most of the times that's a risky situation for their health.

So it looks like my brother doesn't have cancer anymore...after like 2 years of quimio...but the herpes he had last year really ruined the nerves from his arm and he still has a lot to work to try to move it again like before. The bad news was his kidneys are not working well because of the strong quimio he received...at least he's in a way better mood and more active

I don't understand how the child protective services and the social services deal with this kind of stuff? How can anyone work there? This is still an ok family and yet I can't stop thinking about them when I get home. Mostly I can't stop thinking about that one dog. She's a chihuahua and she was missing for 6 days during the winter, when there was tons of snow and much below freezing point, and since she came back she's very scared. All she wants is to be held. She just stands somewhere and looks at you and when you look at her she starts wiggling her tail and comes and stands on two legs leaning on you, wanting to be held. And when you pick her up she's squeezing her head in under your chin, like she's hugging you. And that woman is just yelling at it, even hitting the dogs. Iheld that dog for an hour yesterday, just hugging it. And it did not move once. I actually cried when I had to leave it there. I could've just taken the dog with me when I left and quit my job and moved to some desert. Apparently the animal protective services have been involved for some time already so there's nothing I can do... And yesterday I found out the dog is expecting puppies so there are more dogs on the way to that place. Gosh...

It's understandable to have stuff, especially books, everywhere when you have lots of exams, and especially final exams! I had my final exam in april and I still have paper piles in my bedroom lol I also have this cycle that I have a pile of newly washed clothes that's as big as I am, hanging over my chair, and when I need something I throw the pile on my bed when I dig through it and think "I'm not going to bed before these are folded into my closet". Then I get to bed so late I'm too tired to fold clothes so I put them back on the chair. The next day I repeat this cycle, lol! After I've used something I wash it and then it goes back in the pile on the chair That's great about your brother's cancer! Sad about the other stuff but one disease at a time

Can't you ask the woman to adopt the dog or the puppies?..if they're too many you can find them a family that you know are gonna take good care of him
