tcat lolll girlll that’s a bit creepy Jk jk but who are u on there? And it went pretty good for a first date. Awkward at first but we talked for more than two hours so it wasn’t bad but wasn’t love at first site lol I hate dating tbh. Feels like I’m in an interview We shall see. Also speaking of interviews how is everyone dealing with the whole lay off thing? I’ve been lucky so far and surviving but everyday Im scared im gonna wake up and be locked out of my laptop 😆 but no major lay offs at my company yet thank god Layoffs suck. I’ve been through at least five with my company, with another round in April, so fingers crossed. I’m in the corporate world, so each new CEO or department head brings change, which is sadly just part of work life now. It hurts to be cut, but sometimes it hurts to stay also because you end up doing the job of multiple people. Just remember that you have zero control over it, so control what you can. Also, make sure personal information is off your work laptop in case you need it later, keep your resume updated; and never burn bridges because you might need to network at a later date. You know I never really dated a stranger . 😬 😂. i'm married now, and my husband was a friend first, thankfully. - I'm a majorly awkward introvert, so this would be a disaster for me, 😂, but 2 hours of talking is a good sign! If you like - hope for a second and it goes well! |

I felt old today! Started my dance class at the school with the kiddos today after the summer break. I haven’t listened to the radio for months, so figured this morning I’d listen to see if there are any new nice songs to dance to. I’m thinking what songs I should dance to and think Jason Derulo has some nice dance songs. Like literally 30 seconds after thinking that, his song When Love Sucks comes on… at first I just stared at the radio… then I just went no no no no. I was not ready for that. Stan is not that old. I’m not that old.
I was thinking that the kids today will listen to that and think that’s the first they’ve heard of it, and how that’s not true, how it’s not the “real one”. And I recognized myself, how my parents said some new song I really liked in high school, how it wasn’t the “real one” and the original is so much better, and how I’d roll my eyes at them. And now I’m one of them. I’m one of the old ones. Lmao
I did NOT dance to jason derulo… 🤣
And stan’s not even the original 😭 thank you is…
