Royce will always show up at an EM event, but I don't think EM will ever show up for Royce in the flesh. I could be wrong, but I have no recollection of EM supporting Royce in a physical appearance.

Em wore that damn phryme hoody for legit a year and gave that man his own therapist lol and paid for his hospital stay. Em didn’t need to show up to royces concerts. Plus who would want to perform in front of 60,000 ppl? Lol royce wasn’t doing that for Em haha

It's a little bar that is kind of famous because it's been around since the 60s and a lot of punk acts and groups that have since become stars have played there. It was definitely not worth Em's time. I just thought since Em performed there when he was coming up, probably before Dre, that there was maybe the teeniest tiniest chance he would be there and it would be a publicity stunt like "Surprise! Eminem makes rare appearance at local dive". Nope! It was fun though. The lady that freestyled in 8 Mile performed and some other Detroit artists.

Em has said before that rap is a young man's game and that is why he sometimes thinks about retirement. And he's not wrong. So why is he messing with these middle aged dudes? He should be signing and working with the 29-something year olds, like Kendrick Lamar, etc
These guys are just old bitter men that do nothing but bring negativity to him. What is up with that?

I have no freaking clue. They are all so bitter dude- all of sh and keep trying to allude to SH getting back together for the maybe 1000 fans who care. It’s been ten years stop clinging onto Em for dear life. Joe even names drops Em way too much on his pod especially since it’s been like ten years since Em even talked to u. Let it go. At least with em he disses someone and then moves onto his next move.

At least with em he disses someone and then moves onto his next move. I think because the middle aged dudes are Em's peers and in some cases bitter bettie ex-friends. He has kept the same inner circle for 30 years so if someone comes in or goes out it's a big deal. Snoop is an OG and friend of Dre's, so that is definitely going to ping his radar. Young rappers don't want to go after Em and if they do it's only so Em will mention their names. They are just annoyances to him. See: Gnat. I think he only did that bc MGK had namedropped his daughter and felt he had to or would be losing face. Em has even said in a few interviews now that dissing back can be a struggle because to acknowledge they exist is helping their career and admitting he is bothered by what they said. Gnat was really clever, tbh. He never said MGK's name and yet made it clear that he was just a completely forgettable, insignificant blip in his existence. I love how Em thinks. He pays attention to every action and reaction and builds an appropriate consequence. Em has done collabs with Kendrick, Wayne, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, name dropped Kanye in a good way. I know I am leaving out a lot. He will pay respects to the Young Guys if they don't mumble or are a woman and hot.

matty I thought I posted this earlier but I don't see it. So here goes again... Do you know how Joe Budden's podcast is doing since Mal and Rory left? Is it still popular? What about Mal and Rory? Did they ever start their own podcast? I know that Budden threaten to sue them if they started their own podcast but I can't find anything about it. I tried listening to Joe Budden's podcast but I just couldn't get into it. i found it boring. I started listening to Joe Rogan's podcast, which is actually pretty good. He has so many to choose from and he has been controversial lately, so I wanted to see what it was all about. He's had a few rappers on his show. I listened to Action Bronson and Kanye West which were both interesting. I also listened to Dave Chappelle and Tim Dillon (who is some comedian I had never heard of but is hilarious), But Rogan is definitely better than Budden. I can see why he is the most popular podcaster. I know Em has been on Mike Tyson's podcast and Rick Rubin's several years ago (I think) but I don't know of any others. I would like to see him go on Joe Rogan's podcast. Rogan is actually a good interviewer and gets a lot of info out of his guest. It would be awesome to see what he could get out of Em. But I'm sure Paul won't allow it.

But I'm sure Paul won't allow it. Rory and Mal started their own podcast. They are doing really good numbers and were basically crushing joe's numbers on youtube so Joe put his podcast behind patreon for good and only puts clips on YouTube. He is trying to save face and saying youtube was messing with his numbers or some bullshit but yeah his numbers were barely cracking 200-250k per week when he used to double that. Plus he lost a significant number of twitter and youtube followers. Rory and Mal get about 500k per week so they are thriving and have some good interviews lined up apparently. Joe did get a "podcast deal" on fb which is basically him yapping on the app every two weeks or something but no one goes on it and he barely advertises it because who under 50 really fucks with fb? So yeah he aint doing well. Plus he is still fishing/butt hurt over the Em thing. He was on his FB app bitching to some rapper about how Em misunderstood, etc which validates my theory that he is trying to use Royce and Denaun to get Em to do an interview with him to save his shitty career. The rapper on the call changed the subject real quick lolll. I honestly think every podcaster in rap is low key fishing for that Em interview and its a rat race. I honestly could be WAY reaching but even with Rory and Mal I think they are fishing for it to and making low key moves to get there. They did a podcast with Boosie (Em's artist- so there is a good chance EM was going to listen to the podcast) and I swear they deliberately brought up a conversation about how to critique beats/music from artists in a positive and mature way and I swear it has correlation between Em and the Joe Budden podcast because both sucked Joe's ass and agreed that Em's beats were trash on air and you KNOW em heard that shit and we KNOW Em is sensitive about his music/beats (even though the irony was that Em didn't MAKE ANY of the SH beats! He just added a little bit to the production but not much!). I think they are trying to make baby step amends and are way more connected to the industry than Joe right now- so realistically they have a better shot. But even though I like Rory and Mal (to an extent) I still don't want Em on their show. They said some nasty things about EM just to clout chase with Joe but now looking back I think they are realizing that Joe was the problem with the Shady Records thing and Em didn't do shit. Welp too bad too sad. Don't jump to conclusions and burn bridges sir.
