Well I think it's a good thing they use his music in trailers! They show the trailers all the time on TV anyways, and it makes me happy to unexpectedly hear a little eminem snippet every now and then!

I thought Sing for the Moment fit really well with the storyline so it's not as bad as I expected lol matty I never thought of it that way about the advertising. I guess it's subtle because it looks like he genuinely likes the brands he promotes.

I know guys, I get why he does it and I'm not mad at him, lol. It's a good way to keep an income as he ages and moves away from performing. I just sometimes think of young Eminem and wonder what he would say about it. You know, I often wonder if by now he's let the fear go that that his money has a limit-point. I know that in the first few years, he said he often was worried that the money was only temporary and he'd end up back in the financial struggles. Almost 20 years on, he's got to know that he could sit back and do nothing at all for the remainder of his life and he's got nothing to worry about. So perhaps young Em would be like "whatever helps us get out and stay out of here, dude."

Yeah, it reminds me of my grandparents on both sides not in that Em is old, but once you go without for an extended period of time you always live with a little paranoia. My mom's side of the family were Jewish holocaust survivors and they were normal with money but *hoarded food until they died* (like taking complimentary bread from restaurants back home in their purse) because they spent so much time in concentration camps starving. On my dad's side they lived through the Great Depression...when my grandma died and they were cleaning out her house they found all these hidden stashes of emergency money. These are extreme examples but it wouldn't surprise me if there's a small part of Em that against all logic thinks it could all go away at anytime.

Unlike his friend 50 who seems to think his money will last forever and he can do whatever he wants. Em seems to be a bit more cautious. I would not be surprised if Em had a small fortune set aside for each of his daughters now (as opposed to after he passes) as well so they will never have to struggle in life.

Em and Kim seem to be kinda common-sensey when it comes to money and their kids. I think they both recognize that money doesn't buy happiness and having too much actually makes you more miserable. I bet he supports his kids through college but they will be expected to take care of themselves after that - for their own well being and mental health. But I don't know either one of them and could be totally wrong. He could be funding $100K weekly shopping sprees.

I believe EM will be there financially for his entire family; his entire life. I don't believe that EM would want them to suffer, in any way, and that he will go out of his way to give them the life he never had...Until he made it. Knowing how EM spends his money I am sure he will have more than he'll ever need in his lifetime.
