I think it probably looks bigger than it is.  I mean the rooms are pretty big, or the space or whatever, but imagening many artists recording there at the same time, it's not so big since there's only like one recording space. And I swear if I start another sentence with "I mean" I'll punch myself  Oh...i just assumed there were quite a few recording rooms there. The space just looked so large. By studio standards it's small with only one tracking and one control room, it's really built for only one artist to record at a time. EMs studio is too small to rent out. And, like the guy needs the aggro! I know you're in a funk, kat531 , but seriously you need to snap out of it. You're taking EMzy way to personally and he doesn't even know you exist...LOL...Otherwise, I'm sure he resurface! He does "lend" the studio to various people in need...Like Natasha Bedingfield who recorded in it for a day or two; and never met him. Did I ever say I had a personal relationship with him? Or did I ever imply his invisibility and absence had anything to do with me? I just miss him like everyone else here. No I am not delusional. Nor do I plan to stalk him. And I'm not like clinically depressed or anything because of his absence. But thank you for you concern about my mental health and well-being. WTF |

If I could have my crush and Stan-ism surgically removed in order to hang out with that man for a month and get to know the real him I seriously would. I want to see the moods, or lack thereof. I want to see if Em purposely has Paul handle everything because he wants to avoid doing it himself, or if there really is a toxic daddy/enforcer relationship. I want to see what he does when he gets home now that two of his kids are in college and when Whitney is with her mother. I just have a feeling that whatever it is, his life isn't how any of us imagine. I also agree he needs someone like Proof or Kim. They were the only people who were willing to say you're not gonna talk to me again if I go against you? Fine. And then he'd make his way back, and IMO had usually learned something. Now everyone is so afraid about being kicked out of the inner circle they won't say no to him. I think some of the songs from Relapse and Encore that didn't work happened because people won't say "No Marshall, Ass Like That isn't funny". Whoever handles Em's PR needs to write a book/teach a class or something...because they have his business on lock down. I mean no word of him anywhere...he never pumps his gas, never stops at the store to buy a coke zero (unless Paul is there to take a picture?), never seen driving down the street, taking out the trash? NOTHING?? Back in the day wasn't the boards filled with people who seen Em and Kim or family members out and about? I mean the only candid we have of him was once a game, once at a school event and then Hailie's graduation. This is the age of cellphone camara's someone has to see him somewhere  Exactly, everyone is glued to their cellphones these days, it's shocking that we barely ever get sneak shots of him. That's why it's easy to assume that he lives a hermit life. But maybe he really does blend in the crowd with hats and hoodies and has a semi normal life... Who am I kidding? Here is how his typical routine probably goes like: he gets up, goes to the studio, goes back home, runs 3000 miles on the treadmill, showers with bleach, orders in, watches sports or replays his favorite movies for the 1,000,000th time, busts out his old porn tapes that he probably still watches on his VCR, masturbates and goes to bed. I'm joking but until I see proof that he goes out I'm going to stick to my theory. I mean, do you see how people go wild when he makes an appearance, it's hard to believe that we wouldn't hear about him being out and about. Someone needs to hire a private investigator to get to the bottom of this lol Edit: Rick Rubin pretty much spilled the beans in his interview about Em. He said the guy doesn't have a life outside of music. |

Idk I kind of think Em is kind of like this with his friends in real like at 2:57: Like I think they can be joking and if something gets said that touches Em the wrong way he will let them know with a stare or a bitchy remark and then change the subject. Almost like a warning. Problem is i doubt his friends know what pisses him off sometimes..i dont think even Em knows honestly. But he did say that the littlest things used to set him off to the point of him beating people up. I am sure he is a lot more in control of his anger now but I still think he is touchy at times and his friends kind of have to be careful in certain situations. Even Em said Proof had to take breaks from Em after tours because "he can be a bit much." I remember a girl on live journal told me that she and her friends saw him one time at a club time and if i recall correctly someone said something or did something and she said he gave the scariest stare. Like daggers and they all backed up slowly hahaha. They didnt do anything wrong but something else pissed him off. However, she met him a few times and most of the times she said he was nice. So I am just saying i think he has his moments and his stare can be pretty intimidating lol. Dude is from Detroit after all. I dont think his attitude will every leave him haha |

Plus he knew these pics were really, really important to the kids and their families. So I think he tried hard to at least have a pleasant expression on his face. And yeah, he looks really good and healthy. Wonder if he's continued to keep his weight up. I hope so. It is kind of impossible to tell in that pic of his backside with the huge jacket on. |

I think I could be celebrating my 75th wedding anniversary and watching a gaggle of grandkids running around and I'd still have a little Stan shaped piece of my heart that would still be like LOVE ME, MARSHALL. Look how cute he is. About him never being seen: I have heard he uses fake beards and wigs when he goes out. He's rich af, maybe he's got a prosthetic face that he wears. I am much too poor to live in Em's neighborhood but being in Michigan I hear second or third hand gossip about him once and awhile and it's always the same: somebody's friend saw him shopping but didn't try to approach him because a giant scary looking dude they figure is security is not so subtly pretending to be minding their own business a couple of feet away. |
