sad thing is? if dude didnt betray Em he would probably still be working for him making bank/having a good life jokes on him I feel like he was bound to betray him at some point so in a way it’s a good thing they parted ways when they did. He is the calculating type. Remember, he was keeping a daily log of Em’s activities, the book had dates and everything. You don’t keep a diary about somebody else’s life if you don’t have ulterior motives. He was also very greedy, always counting everybody else’s money and thought he deserved more. In the interview, he mentions that he supposedly made more money with his book than he had in the previous 10 years combined. Besides, had he worked for him any longer, he would be owning more than 9 months of Em’s life right now lol.

He is not the beginning of Em's story. If anything the Rap olympics and his meeting Dre is the beginning. I could see another movie on Em's life that begins with him going to the Rap olympics and ending with the release of "My Name Is" , what was he on the first tour? That can easily be skipped over. If he made so much money off that book why can I download it for free? Heck I can't even download Jenny's entire book for free (although I know there are parts of it up). I actually believe Jenny's book more than his...she of course embellished a lot but she hasn't came out and said she "copy-write" his life the time she as involved with him

His name is is on her book. Good way for him to get backup to his stories...

You don't believe Jenny when she said that Kim made her do cocaine? Why she was just an innocent little girl until Kim got a hold of her. You know she had to write that book to protect herself. From what, I don't know. But she clearly needed protection and a tell all book was the only thing that was going to protect her.

I think Jenny was just as bad as Kim...but I do believe she had something going on with Em and did leave her husband for Em, although I don't think it was because she was madly in love with him...with his bank account yes, him no! I do believe his Aunt and Uncle had it out for her because they could see through her while Em couldn't. Maybe she was just a little passing thing for Em too, there is a part in her story where she states that Em threw a party with strippers and didn't tell her or the girl he was suppose to be dating Lynette I think. I found that odd if she was just another on of the "guys" that he didn't invite her. That made me think that Jenny knew she was a "side piece" to whomever Em was seeing at that time. Basically she thought she was playing him but he was playing her the entire time. I do tend to believe what she said about Brittney Murphy, Mariah etc though. I find that information interesting.

Jenny was EMs "fuck buddy." And she played the part well because that the only way she knew EM would allow her to hang and be Hailie's so-called "nanny." EM wasn't only bangin' her, but Brittany and God knows who else. And, let's not forget that EM set her up with her own pad after she left her hubby for Mr. Marshall. If I remember correctly, I read her book years ago, she did attend some stripper party at EMs. Anytime anyone writes a "kiss and tell" book they are out for one thing and one thing only. Moolah. Only thing in her book I found interesting was the part where she eluded to the fact that EM had some "secret." Hmmmm...

Both books are interesting, especially Jenny's. I went back and skimmed it and compared it to the MOJO interview where both Kim and Marshall addressed it and noticed neither one of them necessarily sad the things in the book were untrue. The emphasis, to me, was on Jenny taking advantage and betraying the Mathers family but Marshall and Kim said the trip to Cancun, the apartment payment and six months rent, growing up with Kim, spending a lot of time with Hailie were all true. Years later we found out other items in the book were true too like Em hooking up with Tara Reid, dating Mariah and Brittany (he hadn't talked about that in depth), issues with Betty, etc. I'm giving major side eye to the "I had sex with Marshall" section though....
I don't remember the bodyguard's book tooo well but I remember the section about the 15 year old and Kesia (sp?) standing out to me.
Overall, I found myself really feeling for Marshall and marveling at how much he doesn't share despite how much he pulls back the curtain when it comes to his work as well as thinking about how much he may wish he could say the things he writes to certain members of his family (Betty & her family).
I also thought I might feel a bit self - conscious around him if I was his friend out of fear he might talk about me (i.e. Kid Rock and his music, Dr. Dre).

When Em and Kim called into MOJO, they had not read the book yet. Supposedly, they found out about it by hearing her on the radio and that is why they called into the station. So they would not have known what was said in the book or whether or not it was true.
