This is Eminem we're talking about. We know he's not a racist so nobody cares about the tape he made years ago & he doesn't really need to justify it - and the line about Meg isn't a diss, IMO. It was just a fun line. It would be hilarious if she takes offense to it.
And honestly... I don't look at the shooting incident as domestic violence. I don't think of her as a victim.

That’s exactly what he is doing and he knew what the reactions were going to be. Judging by some of the props and stuff he does in the video you can tell him and/or his team are definitely listening to what fans are saying on social media. I know his lyrics aren’t for everyone but I don’t think people should really take his stuff serious at all. He does it for shock value just like he did all those years ago. I agree, and now that I see Meg shaded him earlier this year with her verse about Mariah and obsessed, he was definitely going to respond to that. For some reason he can't move pass the Mariah stuff. But why not shock people and say something about Diddy, that would go viral! I do feel like he goes after easy targets. His life might be in jeopardy if he attacks someone like Diddy, so sometimes I feel like he goes after low hanging fruit. The only time he disses guys is if they diss him first or are pop stars, but he never does a first diss to a hard core or sketchy person. I mean 50 Cent going hard at Jay-z and Diddy, those would have been perfect targets for a Slim Shady diss. Suge Knight talk all kind of crap about him behind bars and Em treads lightly on dissing him. That is what I respect about 50 Cent. He truly does not give a care and goes hard after ANYONE, not just low hanging fruit. He dissed R. Kelly, but only after he lost favor in the culture. Diddy & R. Kelly are easy targets... they're already doomed, finished, prosecuted. A line about them wouldn't go viral because it wouldn't have been a surprised since they're already being made fun of on social media. Mariah was a difficult target, for example. |

And he actually did diss Diddy in Killshot, at the time, Diddy was a difficult target. But, he softened the blow so nobody really gave it attention. |

I thought the same...Mariah mentions or anything implied made me think this is what brought on the Meg the Stallion stuff... I also agree that Diddy would have been PERFECT for him to swing at... Little debate to be had over Diddy too but with Meg that is not the same..... |

That is your opinion, lot of peopel didnt look at Cassie as a victim or a lot of wsomen. Doens't mena they were not. To me someone shoots at your feet that is illegal regardless of why it occured. |

You do understand that no matter what someone does to you, you can't take a gun and shoot at them unless it is self defense and he never alleged that. And since they suppsoedly dated and the guy was trying to date both friends, it woyld be considered domestic violence. |

I agree with what you're saying. However, I do think that was the point.. basically to be as offensive as possible. There were debates as to whether he was taking a shot at her or just having a bar that was a double entendre I get what you are saying, but Em is a smart guy he could have definitely come up with something even more clever with Diddy. Diddy is an open wound right now. I think the diss to Meg was intentional and not just to be clever. I think it is in response to her shading him in January on "Hiss." I would've loved a full on diss at Diddy. But, at this point, would it have an impact because everyone hates him. Personally, I would absolutely love that.. or rather, take aim at all of those who supported Diddy through this ordeal. That would've been hard af! |
