It's illegal, for sure. But she was also abusive whereas Cassie wasn't. You sitting on here trying to justify a man shooting a black woman walking away because your 51 year old fav trying to live out his glory days from the 2000.

I agree with what you're saying. However, I do think that was the point.. basically to be as offensive as possible. There were debates as to whether he was taking a shot at her or just having a bar that was a double entendre I get what you are saying, but Em is a smart guy he could have definitely come up with something even more clever with Diddy. Diddy is an open wound right now. I think the diss to Meg was intentional and not just to be clever. I think it is in response to her shading him in January on "Hiss." I mean that could be true or it was fresh news story at the time he wrote the Song. Diddy has been problematic for years but the most recent stuff was way after he already had the song written and recorded. But maybe he has another song with some lyrics about him in the new album.

I think this subject is very touchy and obviously domestic violence is not ok and I don’t think anyone here is saying what happened to her is ok. We don’t know if it was just a lyric or was he really trying to diss her and make light of what happened. Obviously em knew by writing it that it was going to get a reaction and not a good one from a lot of people.

I mean, the man who shot her is also black but you didn't mention that. I wonder why.

I would've loved a full on diss at Diddy. But, at this point, would it have an impact because everyone hates him. Personally, I would absolutely love that.. or rather, take aim at all of those who supported Diddy through this ordeal. That would've been hard af! I would love for him and 50 Cent to tag team on a full on diss of a lot of people in the industry including Diddy, Rissell Simmons, R. Kelly, Jay-z, etc. But I think he stays away from that because Dr. Dre is shady as well and it wont be long before all his abuse comes to the head. I agree. He's very loyal to his friends so it will be interesting to see what will his reactions be when it does come to light. I remember when he made a joke about Rihanna & CB fight and he felt the need to apologize for that. Plus, 50 comes off as abusive to me, too. Maybe not physically but emotionally. I always wondered if Em tried to give him some advice in regards to his relationship with Marquise. Also, someone mentioned Lipstick Alley. That's straight up a racist site & they hate him over there. It's been like that for years.

But there has not been a lot of acccusations or receipts yet. I otice they are happening one-by-one. I think Diddy was no longer valuable so he was no longer protected. He sued that big alcohol company and that is when his house of cards started falling. 50 Cent is suing an alcohol company as well. So it will be interesting to see how that goes for him.

I don't think 50 has any real dirt on him... IMO, he is too smart for that. I don't think he beats women. He may be emotionally abusive but that's very hard to prove.
But Dre did beat women.

I’d assume 50 is for sure emotionally. I mean, he hates on his one son. Maybe a reason for it, but your kid has to be pretty awful to publicly shit talk your kid.

I know that he apologized for it before because it was pretty big. And then i do remember that he had another kid in the recent years too. A lot of stuff going on. I really wonder what Em's life is really like

I agree that 50 seems more like the emotional/mental abuse type of anything. I just can’t see him putting hands on a woman imo. If you look at his relationship with his oldest son and stuff he said about him…..that kind of mental/emotional stuff seems evident.

Well people didn't think OJ or Bill Cosby were like that either, but here we are. Hard to make those calls about anyone you don't know personally when some of those people who knew him said they had no idea. I use to swear certain celebs didn't do things. NOPE, not anymore. You have no clue unless you really know this people. They are entertainers and if they do it well they make great money and fool their fans. Look at what he is doing to his child's mother on social media calling her a sex worker and they have a young child in school. One thinsg we have learned about abuse, it starts with the emotion head games and escalates. I find it hard to believe a man who has lead a violent life like 50 Cent has not been physical with people he has dated. I actually liek 50 Cent and hope he isn't prob;ematic, but the odds say he most likely is or has been problematic in that way.

Just because he led a violent life when he was younger doesn’t mean he abuses women. I saw the stuff he was saying about his child’s mother but to me it seems like he really likes to run his mouth. Do I know for sure he hasn’t abused a partner? No. Maybe in his younger day but maybe he is smart enough not to Do it that’s why he is always on twitter talking crap.

Houdini is number 1 worldwide on Itunes. The video had 13 million views in it's first 24 hours. This went about as well as they could've hoped for. A little promo goes a long way.

As far as the Megan line goes, we have the context of 25 years of Eminem songs where he's basically doing pop culture meta commentaries. My Name Is, Real Slim Shady, Without Me, Houdini, etc. They all include a litany of name drops and jokes about pop culture figures and controversies. Some of them in reference to serious crimes and dark subject matters. I've never really thought of these as disses per se, just satire. Obviously, if any of the people referenced take issue with it I wouldn't fault them though. But I like these songs and I think they work. They're fun and camp, and that's why they are popular.
