I sent out halloween murdery mystery party invitations on tuesday LOL! It’s like two months to go, but as a horror fan I absolutely love halloween and this year’s party is gonna be awesome! Can’t wait 🤩 Anyone else like murder mystery parties? This will be my 4th time hosting, it’s a quite new thing in finland That sounds liek so much fun! Do you actually act it out and have someone be the victim and someone be the murderer? |

Do you actually act it out and have someone be the victim and someone be the murderer? Oh it is so much fun!  definitely recommend! and it kinda depends on the game, but yeah we act it out. There are different kinds of games and different versions, but it’s basically like a cluedo like game, but instead of a board game, each player gets a character and we play live. In the majority of these games the characters are usually invited to a party or dinner by a made up host, and once the party is about to start the host is found murdered, so this is when the game begins. So you are then supposed to figure out who the killer is and their motive. All characters have some kind of motive and there are usually twists and turns. Usually you don’t even know your own character is the killer, but you’ll find out with everyone else, or if you know in advance, you’re supposed to convince the other players to not suspect you. It’s really fun and everyone who has attended one of these have been totally blown away at the end. And there’s really no winning or losing, you either guess right or wrong. I’ve found many free versions online that have been super good but this year I’m actually gonna buy a game! So many people want to attend lol. Gonna need a bigger house soon lol! but I’ve played from these sites and think they are super good if anyone wants to try www.mymysteryparty.com/www.playingwithmurder.com/ |
