It’s smart that his label discounted the album on iTunes US! Back to the top 10!🤓🙂 Personally I think that Tragic endings is catchier than River and could have done so much better as a second single in the USA than River, but a top 15 in the USA is good, it’s a hit. I think they were expecting a top 10 though, but the better song was Tragic endings and it had to be a radio single.

I think tragic endings is too similar to what he has already done.
River too, but it's a bit more different with the story telling. Also, the song sounds like a Ed Sheeran song, which was almost a promess of success.
Talking about Justin Timberlake, he got a lot of hate during the superbowl. With his first single too! I saw a lot of people comparing him to Eminem, saying they were both has been and old and both needed to retired.
Anyway it's funny how they are groupep together now, lot of love/hate on their music but still a big fan base and in "competition" for sales. I remember him being also around during Recovey era and being excited about Em's come back.

It's true, it's similar to other songs he has made, but I think the general public wouldn't mind because the song is catchy and relatable!! I have never been a fan of Skylar, but she really shines in this song. I heard that in Europe, River was/is a bigger hit though. On JT: I think he and Em did well considering that they have so many years in this industry. In 20 years from now, I don't think Taylor or Drake would be selling this much. They are clearly in their prime right now.
