But him being #2 on this list, does that mean this technically cannot be called a #1 hit? Am I getting this right? Number shmumbers but if this is the case, it's too bad 😔 would be nice to see him get another one at this stage in his career! Oh that’s a good question! I wanna know too! |

Their cohost said “oh should we play it?” Then they did before break… they treated it like an “afterthought” unfortunately…  |

Billboard heavily weights radio plays in their formula to determine the Hot 100 songs. Because of that, Houdini just missed out on being #1 in the US.
