Hey guys, I know we’re all here because we love Eminem and his music but do you guys just admire him as a fan or do you guys crush over him and given a chance would like to maybe date Em and get to know the real Marshal Mathers?

Sure. I live less than an hour away and am only 6 years younger than Em. I would be lying if I said I never secretly wished we'd run into each other so I could woo him or something. LOL. I wouldn't call it a crush, though. I am not delusional. It will never happen and it's super cringe. I am happy to just be a fan and to keep following his career from afar. Living in Michigan in the Detroit area it is not uncommon to come across someone who is connected to him in some way. I actually have a pretty good friend who helped set up his audio at a festival in 2011. Another friend's husband checked Kim into Weber's Inn, a hotel I used to live by, and my ex-boyfriend was actually in rehab with her. I know someone whose brother did some sort of grouting and tile work for Em. An old college roommate's parents lived in the same neighborhood as him and she saw him taking out the trash (this was in 1998, I'm sure he has people to do that for him now). They all say the same thing, that his security is like something you would expect a President to have (which makes the home invasion even creepier) and mostly you work through his people...but if he does talk to you he comes across as very reserved--not chatty, he says whatever he needs to say and that's it--but that he is very polite and courteous. I always feel like so close and yet so far away! |

The rehab is called Sacred Heart and he said Kim was nice but a little bit aloof. She helped out a lot with chores but did not participate much in group (understandable). They keep men and women separate most of the time except for meals and some groups though so he didn't see her often or try to know her...he had his own shit to work on. Unfortunately, he was not able to stay sober and we broke up in September. Tbh I am still really sad about it...but yeah I guess I'm technically two degrees of separation from Em! Crazy. |

Oh wow, you live close to him, don’t have big age gap, you know people who’ve known Em, omg, you running into him is a possibility. And I’m sorry about your ex boyfriend and you breaking up because of him breaking his sobriety, it hurts knowing that they couldn’t get better. I wish you all best to someday run into Em and you get to talk to him. |

This thread is misleading! sparrow who was she at the hotel with, and around what year?! I don't think anyone. She checked in herself. If someone visited her no one saw anything. I also have no idea why she was in Ann Arbor. Maybe football? Visiting a friend? I am not sure of the year but she was married to Em at that time and checked in/signed the receipt "Kim Mathers". The hotel manager was an Em fan and realized who she was but he didn't pry. She was polite to staff and did not leave the room dirty. That's all I know. |

I always feel like so close and yet so far away! I can’t stop thinking about Em all day and I’m having a lot of trouble falling asleep because I can’t quit fantasizing about him. I wish I could convince myself that the odds of me running into Eminem are very thin to none. I live in Canada, I can get a US visa and visit his city but there’s no guarantee that I’d even get to see him. I’m Indian, I’m not sure he likes brunettes most of the girls he’s dated in the past were blondes. And to top it all off I’m 23 and his daughter Hailie is 25 I doubt he’d date someone younger than his daughter. But I have ADHD and thinking about Em my brain produces Seratonin (it doesn’t on its own) which keeps me excited, so I’m hooked. I’m in a deep deep funk of this impossible crush on Eminem, ughhhh god help me. |

Sorry he couldn't stay sober and you guys broke up. Was that the time frame - 2010/2011? It was around that time, yes, but I don't know the exact year. My ex lived in California until 2009 and he met me in 2015. He said in 2015 it was "a few" years ago which I interpreted as 3-5, so right in that time period where it would have made sense. |

Since we are on the subject...I do know one person who claims to have actually hung out with him in 2002 at Pure nightclub in Detroit. She said he was in VIP with some basketball players from the Detroit Pistons and what she described as "hip-hop people". He was wearing a doo rag and drinking, and she didn't have a conversation with him but was part of some general small talk.
Frankly, I don't believe her. This person is kind of a show-off. She made it sound like she was asked over because she was so hot and I just really doubt it...she's pretty but not so amazingly attractive she would be plucked from the regular club and taken to VIP to hang out with rappers and athletes, especially since her boyfriend was with her.
I think the real story is she was out clubbing and someone told her Eminem was in VIP. That's why I don't usually mention it...the other stuff is so mundane, like why would someone lie that his brother laid tile for Eminem, did his job, and left? But "Oh I met him at a club, he was right across the table" yet she has no recollection of what they talked about or what he wore besides the doo rag, or really anything about what he was like. That's why I think she was just trying to pretend like she's some hot model all the celebrities want.
LASTLY--I know someone who gave Simon Cowell a lap dance. He tipped her $400. Oh and I met Paula Abdul once. That's it for my celebrity stories! I know, they're all boring.
