I just have to post and say how amazed I am by Nyle Dimarco. He's deaf and I was amazed how well he was doing on America's next top model in cycle 22, and I was rooting for him since the beginning, and he won! Now he's on Dancing with the stars, and I am so amazed, he's doing so well in a dance competition when he can't even hear the music or the beat. Great teamwork with his partner! He's cute and he's incredible. There was once, nee deceased, a very famous theatre choreographer named Peter Gennaro who was also deaf. The man choreographed "West Side Story" and "Annie," which won him a Tony.

They had a deaf person on DWTS season 6 but she could hear the bass a little and something else, but Nyle can't hear anything. He's so cute! I'm almost inspired to learn sign language thanx to Nyle lol! |

I love Nyle! He is a really good dancer and then when you find out he is deaf its just mind blowing! My favorite Paige Vanzant. She is a MMA fighter and she is good also. I think Nyle in first and Paige in second place.

Almost forgot about Nyle. LOL! Well, this is an EM forum. Duh! When you're deaf your senses are heightened. Brain waves are on high alert...So is Nyle!

Well yeah, Nyle has never heard anything so he's used to using his other senses, while this week in their paso doble they had a completley silent segment, where the professional dancers struggled a lot, so obviously it's worse for people who hear to all of a sudden not hear, than for deaf people who has never heard and are used to it and have since childhood practiced using all their other senses |

I can already say "happy mother's day" in sign language! Well maybe that's not the most important thing Em needs... Lol! And I guess he can say "fuck you" on his own... Well I can sign "I love you" in letters so I guess I could sign that to him over and over
