I agree. Em needs to respond. The Shady label is lacking for sure. I'm surprised he didn't diss Paul as well, because I really think he is the business arm of Shady. Most people don't realize Paul has 50% ownership of that label, and he really is not good at selecting or guiding talent either. He lucked out with Em. I agree. Shady Records has had some great talent - Obie, D12, Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf - those are the acts I used to follow (still listening to this day!), loved them all. It seems like Em did all the right things but it wasnt enough. And youre right, Paul is 50% and obviously the more business-minded one. Its really too bad. Shady Records could have been something special. I am especially gutted about Slaughterhouse not working out, I know its been years since they broke up but I still cant get over it. They were so good. So yeah Benzino made some good points. It honestly made Em's inital diss seem so juvenile. Still really funny and the delivery was CHEFS KISS but yeah. Benzino attacked him personally. Like as a Stan, I'M feeling the burn haha I think you hit the nail on the head, Benzino's diss was much more mature and he went after topics that challenge his status has having impact on the culture holistically, beyond himself, which is why he called him selfish in the intro. Boogie even said when he out here looking at talent it is to make himself stronger not about the artist. I think that is why peopel argie Jay-z makes the bigger impact, even though I can't stand him, he has doone things for the entire rap culture like even bringing Dr. Dre, Snoop and Eminem to the Super Bowl.

Oh really, I didnt know Boogie said that, gives a lot of insight on what goes on behind the scenes. And about Jay-Z - those are some great points. So very true, he has had more of an impact in general definetly. Ok and also what Benzino said about Em never going out, its funny timing. We just saw Em interacting with other human beings for the first time like ever. It says a lot when his fanbase is freaking out and happy to see him do normal shit like talk to people and look happy and then be upset when the lions were losing. I found myself watching the videos in awe. But its just a man doing normal shit. It just says a lot. Lol not to shit on Em or anything, he's great and I'm sure he has some sort of anxiety when he's in the public eye, he always looks uncomfortable but seeing him be so relaxed at the last game was SO NICE.

None of this is bad on Eminem at all. No one can ever deny that man's talent and I don't necessarily think he is intentionally selfish or only thinking about his career. I think he wants to be a part of the culture and make an impact and I definitely think he has. I mean, after Tupac, people stop talking about real issues and he made that Vogue again. Other rappers talking about their money, cars women they hook up with was not good for the culture in my opinion. I think Em inspired other rappers to put some spark in their rhymes again. I think that is also why the OGs like him. But a guy friend of mine who is a big fan of Eminem said his favorite era was before 2006 and he said the Eminem in those football stands reminded him of the old Em and he referenced the one who used drugs and we discussed the possibility of him not being fully sober anymore, and specifically the gum chewing, which people who have been addicted are known to use as a mechanism to stave off whatever they crave. Now I am not saying he fell off the wagon, but I do recall he has not shared his sobriety coins or wore the jewelry since before Covid and a lot has happened that could be a trigger like his dad dying, Covid shut down, the intruder, Kim's issues. I also think he is on the spectrum and struggles with whatever that condition is and if it is Aspergers or some other form f autism, it worsens as you age. Please don't come at me with hate. I am not saying that is definitely the case, but it is a possibility with anyone who was addicted to something. I don't think it is drugs, but possibly an occasional drink or two. I surely do hope it is not the case and he was genuinely just happy and having a good time.

I'm not going to lie. Benzino's latest diss is good. So good, I think he might have a ghostwriter. What are all of your thoughts, not through the eyes of a fan, but purely based on the content? I think he dropped some truths for sure. It was better than the first one, thats for sure. Em has to respond, put the nail in the coffin again 🤣 Well this is what he likes and thrives, I really think he was bored 'cos the diss came from nowhere lol now he has to respond. I don't think he used a ghostwriter, the bars were not that clever, he was spitting hard facts about shady records that a lot of rappers has implied in the past even mentioned those rappers.

I don’t think he had a ghost rider because he just said facts. It really was a good diss though and if him… i didn’t know had it in him lol Em’s diss came out of nowhere, so I think he is either bored or needs a challenge and got the pot stirring, knowing a reply would happen to attack.

alphagirl01 That’s an interesting theory. I mean, that is the most outgoing I’ve seen him in a very long time. Because I’m hoping your friends theory is not true and maybe he was just really excited that his long-suffering team was in the playoffs because you do get a high off that (Cubs fan, and it happened in 2016) and he does like to battle, so maybe all the 49er got him going!

It really was a good diss though and if him… i didn’t know had it in him lol Em’s diss came out of nowhere, so I think he is either bored or needs a challenge and got the pot stirring, knowing a reply would happen to attack. The reason I think he had a ghostwriter is because that flow and word usage is distinct. Rappers have a distinct way they connect words and that is not Benzino's flow or vocabulary. I actually think it might be the battle rapper Hitman Holla. Listen to his rap diss for Em when he was on Nick Cannon's song. Doesn't it sound similar? Start wathcing at :57 HItman Holla is the skinny guy after Charlie Clips. Benzino admitted in this diss that he been going to these battle rap events, so I bet that is what he did, got battle rappers to help him. And if Benzino is getting battle rappers to write his lyrics, this going to get nasty real quick because battle rapping is a whole other league and it's Eminem's roots! They may just unleash the beast and I am here for it! Hitman Holla is at 1:32 in this Eminem diss:
But interesting Benzino insulted several people in this song: MGK, Mr. Porter, Swifty McVay, Bizarre adn Royce, Lyrical Lemonade and he actually called Royce to jump on the diss with Em so he can take them both on. I wouldn't be surprised if Nick Cannon wasn't helping Benzino from behind the curtain buy hooking him up with good battle rappers. I'm just saying. You don't become an overnight lyricist after droping flops as many years as Benzino unless you have some help. This is going to get good!

Royce is helping with the damage control, he reposted Vezzo's opinion.

That is some sissy stuff to have Royce go get Icewear Veezo to make a video defending his stance on Eminem. Eminem put out the Benzino diss so he needs to respond. Period. See, this is why the culture gets annoyed with Eminem. Name one rapper who has ever had another rapper speak for him. The girls don't even do that. He is not too good to play the game the way it's suppose to be played.
Let me put myself in a self-imposed time out because I am getting heated.

So the rumor is that Cassidy, the battle rapper, is the one who ghostwrote for Benzino's "Rap Elvis." Cassidy is the guy sitting on the couch that is back up agaisnt the wall in the blue cap and jacket. Interesting because he is breaking down Em's flow patterns for Math Hoffa. Sounds like he does what Em does, studies the greats and he is using it to make money by being a ghostwriter.
But, that is the thing about being technical, it can be taught. That is what I loved about Tupac, he spoke to societal issues and it gave him a distinct voice. It can't be taught when you write from a passionate and personal place. That's what made Em so nice in the early days, it wasn't replicable.

I like Benzino's diss, maybe now Eminem will be "grown up", so he won't "respond ", but I hope it won't be like that, this probably caused some emotional reaction, but as I wrote, and now according to many, as it is popularly said "mature and grown-up", perhaps he will remain silent, unfortunately! .....where is the luck,so that he might answer ....?!?But all of his lyrics were smart and very mature even at a young age, so he shouldn't beholding himself back, if that was his first impulse at all! He is a healthy person, who knows if he drinks a drink or two, a glass of mulled wine, when it's cold, and that would not harm him in any way, and children can do that! Who knows what his feelings were when his father passed away, whether he ever think about his half-brothers and half-sisters on his father's side...!? In one video at the last game, at one moment, I saw the same young him, the way he smiled, as if he was deliberately refraining from any reaction in public all these years, as if he was punishing himself, and he was not even guilty not obligated for anything, and as if someone is deliberately encouraging him to behave like that....!

He seems like he's in a good place now though, looking really healthy. Let's hope he's keeping sober! I am a long suffering Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and yeah, when they are doing well in the playoffs it's a high, so i can understand his giddiness (sp?) lol
