I hope he limits the amount of anthemic, overcoming adversity songs and focuses on introspection and social commentary.

I will consider myself blessed by whatever he chooses to put out. But I'm in the mood for a sexy, mysterious vibe. Like I wouldn't mind some trap sounding beats for sure. But I also want him to be more personal and real at the same time, haha. Maybe a mix of both. But yeah, just like pretty much everyone else, I want him to slow down and breathe. If he does more songs like his verse on Kill For You, I will be very, very happy. I love how you can literally HEAR him breathe on that verse. He sounds natural and real. I love his voice quality, flow, emotion, and everything. Other than needing some personal tracks from him, I really don't care much about what he decides to rap about... Although I don't want him to rehash any old topics that's for sure. I want fresh, new, innovative--something unexpected.

im getting so impatient already Tell me about it! It's been a month since he announced he was working on the album and I'm sure he was pretty close to finishing at that point because he wouldn't just say that if he wasn't ready to release something. So frustrating! He doesn't have anything to prove anymore, he doesn't need the money. I wish he would just release songs randomly as he is done with them instead of waiting for this perfect album concept. It would take a lot of pressure off and I'm sure we would all love to get a few songs a year as opposed to this long wait in between albums. Why isn't that a thing?

I am the type of person that likes listening to albums from start to finish (maybe cuz I'm getting old lmao). And I really do want the best album he can give. But holy fuck he better be getting ready to drop the next gospel with the amount of time he is taking on it. Like no excuses Em. This shit better be amazing.

That's what I mean, the expectation is always high when you take a break. If he dripped songs here and there, he wouldn't feel that pressure to release something perfect IMO. Sometimes when you overthink something, it can have the adverse effect.

We got Shady XV months after his last album and Southpaw only came out last year. let me bitch in peace What you meant to say was that you're angry that he's hardly done anything this year, 2016 is the deadest year in Eminem world since 2007.

Eminem announced he was working on he new album in Oct 16, it will be released.......... He acknowledged he was working on MMLP2 long before that though. And yeah, 2016 has been a horrible year for Eminem fans. Total of 2 public outings total for the year. And the 2nd was a 1 minute verse at a Drake concert. Ridiculous really. I feel ya, matty.

Also I always get impatient in between albums especially when Em confirms he is making one I feel ya on this Matty. I mean for some reason it didn't feel like a total abandonment during those times. Or maybe I was focused on other things and didn't notice the no sighting of him anywhere, no colabs with other artist, no interviews on Shady 45, nothing... I mean remember when we all got so excited about the Lolla dates when they annonced them! We just knew an album was coming or why else would he be doing Lolla? Right?? LOL joke was on us I guess :9w It just seems even last year we had more collabs, more interviews, heck even after the whirlwind of the Southpaw promo in July he popped up in October with The Hills remix, then the basketball thing he did, then what two months later Paul posted the pic from the football game. Somewhere in there he also did the Big Sean concert, What did we get this year? Besides the Lolla promo (which somewhere deep inside I feel that if they knew that info would get to us they would have toned it down a bit) A pic from Jimmy Ivonies wedding months later and a pic from the Drake concert and the Skylar Grey song.
