I am sure there are people in MBM Jr's life that will miss him but Marshall may very well have passed the mourning phase years ago.Takes more than sperm to be a father.
He speaks of his father at around the 7:42 mark. Of course this was in 2010, I think.

I still think it’s quite sad. I don’t know my dad and I would still be sad I think. Probably would feel resentment more than anything as he would probably have his other kids at his funeral saying how much of a good dad he is or whatever, but what kind of “good” dad walks away from one kid to end up raising others?! I think it would have been good for him to get closure and I can’t help thinking of Headlights where he kind of made an excuse for him that he couldn’t keep up with the addresses etc. He still raps about his dad so it still obviously affects him I think. sad really. I am sorry that this has happened to you. I swear I will never understand how people can walk away from a kid. Remember though, its a reflection on him not you. |

I'm not sure how to feel about it because they didn't have a relationship. It's still sad but it feels kinda detached.

Very sad news! Rest In Peace!
He was still young and I bet he was proud of all Em’s achievements. I heard he wanted to reconcile with Em and I hope Em forgave him before his death. Even Nathan his brother adopted his last name, so I don’t think Em hated him.
