And the only true 3D movie was "Avatar." I stopped going to the 3D versions this year and could now care less. Tomorrow I'm going to see "Captain Fantastic" the new Viggo Mortensen movie. I remember him from LA when he was married to Exene Cervneka from "X."

I remember him from LA when he was married to Exene Cervneka from "X." I just saw the third lord of the rings movie when it was on TV here this week. Lol my cousin and I bought our boats pretty much at the same time and my cousin is a huge LOTR fan and loves Aragorn, and he said his boat's name is Aragorn, so I jokingly said that then my boat's name is Viggo, lol! Its name has been Viggo since then so my boat is named after Viggo Mortensen  And we have a friend in our group with an eye problem so he can't see 3D so we always see 2D movies. I saw the second Hobbit movie in 3D with my cousins but I didn't think it was that special. There was one scene when they dropped the ring and it looked like it flew in to the audience, lol. |

LMAO that your boat is named Viggo. Do you fish? As I'm sure there is some god fishing in Finland. Not to mention all those delish desserts you make. Ever make a fish pie?

I do fish but usually just from our dock and for the cat. I'm not really a fish person. I eat fish but it's not something I'd make myself voluntarily so to say, lol. There's something I absolutely love tho! My mom always makes this thing we call "salmon mix". You chop cold smoked salmon (is this a thing outside the Nordics?), and mix with chopped onion, and then mix it with 50/50 sour cream and cream cheese. We usually have garlic tasting cream cheese. Then add some pepper and serve on finnish crisp breads (oh I feel so finnish right now, lol) Looks like this (not my pic)  |

I do like bagels and lox with capers and red onions. Not a cream cheese type, but I do like sour cream. Americans love their salmon and I've seen a variation of this dish as a bouche amuse. |

I saw the trailer and I'm not spending my money on that :/ I liked Deadpool a lot and this year I also liked Me Before You ...even Finding Dory was kind of disappointed, I thought I was gonna like it as much as Finding Nemo ...it was one of my favorite Disney movies (not counting the classics ones). |

Saw "Suicide Squad" yesterday...Major disappointment. SO far my fav movie of 2016 is "Deadpool." Ryan Reynolds killed it! Suicide Squad has gotten so many bad reviews, both from critics and from fans. And I just heard on the news a girl from England that's suing them because they apparently made a good trailer, but then the movie was bad and didn't even contain the scenes from the trailer. |

I've been totally hooked on the olympics equestrian. Man, the eventing, or whatever it's called, field jumping?, was so exciting and intense to watch! Makes me wanna start horseback riding again!

Anyone saw gymnast Samir Ait Said's leg brake? Omg, poor guy!! I felt so sorry for him!  As a former gymnast I always have to watch the gymnastics, lol! It's not often a gymnast lands that wrongly tho! Well he's up and walking already tho! |
