Just rewatched the first two hunger games movies, and they were better this second time, lol! Still haven't gotten to watch the last two movies but I'm gonna try to watch them soon I liked Mockingjay Part 1, but not Part 2. However, it was also my least favorite book in the series so it's not necessarily the movie's fault. I'm way too old for him but the guy who plays Finnick O'Dair (don't know the actor's name) is my other crush besides Em. I haven't even read the books. So I have no idea what to expect and it's funny because I know that Peeta guy from the movie Little Manhattan, where he basically was a baby lol, so it's a bit weird to see him so grown and in this kind of role.

And I didn't feel like it was very special. But it was better now the second time I watched it. Maybe if you kinda know what's coming you can appreciate it more ?

I am currently obsessed with American Ninja Warrior. It is an obstacle course competition. I spent most of the holiday weekend on the couch watching the "Ninjathon" - all episodes from last year. I don't know why but I love that show. I guess it is because everyone is so positive and they cheer each other on.

I just saw fantastic mindless entertaiment..."X-Men Apocalypse." There were actually some funny moments and dialogue and the Hugh Jackman "Wolverine" cameo was a total plus. I actually liked it better that the last one.

After my graduation I started my second ER marathon this year, but this time I started from the beginning (usually start from season 9 when Mekhi Phifer starts). Man George Clooney is good looking... like obviously, but still Really like Eric LaSalle too! Haven't seen these first seasons since they were on TV! Lol

Just watched The Hills Have Eyes. I've seen it sometimes a hundred years ago, but didn't remember much. Well it was just as boring as the first time I watched it, and imo it really was the dog that was the hero

"The Hills Have Eyes" was a big disappointment and, in a way, was the original "Mad Max" if you have seen it lately. I have it and, like the other, it doesn't hold up 30+ years later. Needless to say "Hills" came first and it set a level of gore that is a recipe for the horror genre. "Mad Max" definitely took their cues from that movie. And, Wes Craven, the director of "Hills," who died last August paved the way for a whole new cadre of directors.

Well I watched the remake of The Hills Have Eyes from like 2006, so not the original one, so this was basically just gore gore and more gore… Boring! I have seen the Mad Max movies, although not this really new one. But I don't really remember which movie is which, it's so long ago since I saw them. I doubt the original Hills was this gory tho. I don't really understand this new "horror" genre, when it's all about gore. What's so scary about gore? I basically work with it (ok not really), but I don't need that when I wanna relax in the evening too… lol. I just don't think these new "horror" movies with lots of gore are scary, they're just bloody. I want old school horror with like ghosts and stuff! Movies that have you sitting at the edge of your seat, biting your nails! Movies like Mama, The Conjuring, Annabelle etc…

I really like the Hills Have Eyes remake. I thought the 2nd one was shite but I wouldn't say the 2006 one was all gore. I mean it was gory but I cared as well. I have a hard time finding horror films I like. The last film that really got me was Under The Skin, not to everyone's taste but it's a cool approach on aliens and isolation

For it's time the original "The Hills Have Eyes" was gory, but in a completely different way than its sequel and remake. The reality for me is is that they just don't make horror films like they use to. Now it's more formulaic. I was, at one time, a big fan of horror movies. Now it's just hohum for me. Though I have to admit that the ending of "The Blair Witch Project" gave me a jolt!
