It's pretty much only about the album, but I still really like the interview! It kinda felt like a discussion more than an interview. And I totally agree with elton:

I feel like I learned more about Elton than Em with this interview lol It was alright I guess. Cool new pictures. If he's only been working on the project for the past year I wonder what he's been doing all this time... matty, Em pretty much validated everything you've been saying about Paul trying to act like an artistic director and meddling with the creative process!!! That scares me. Also he said he tried to do something for everyone... Marketing 101, if you try to please everyone you end up pleasing no one. I'm going to listen to everything with an open mind though. |

The Eminem show is one of my favorite albums of Em’s and to me it had something for everyone and wasn’t exactly cohesive. I thought revival was gonna be more recovery wannabe lol but now I think he is going for a more TES vibe. He is getting political but also touching on personal stuff like he did on TES. And if that’s the case I’m happy Now sure I would love to have a more cohesive concept album. I’d prefer it but I do love untouchable and I’m starting to get excited again. I just hope I don’t hear too much of shitty Paul’s influence lol |
