What's with the candy bars? Is that some more shit Paul is trying to hawk? And he uses MMLP2 publicity photo's? He hasn't taken any new ones for this album? Weird!
and worrisome.

I'm glad I didn't sit through the whole show to watch this. SNL has been for shit for years now. I have watched the clip a couple of times and I can't help but think there is something wrong with Em. He doesn't seem himself and looked really, really nervous. I'm not getting a good feeling. I don't want to go read social media if they are being mean towards Em, but if they are you know he will be crushed and this will just make him more of a recluse and we really will never see him again. And probably never get the album. I personally think he went through some mental stuff and he got treatment for it. Then he thought he was good enough to promote and is now struggling I think a similar thing happened during mmlp2 but it happened toward the end instead of the beginning

I think it's Paul fucking with the fans! Maybe he wants us to be angry? He had tweeted about "Bars" on SNL, and I saw on twitter people speculating about Bars being a new song by Em, and then it was the chocolate bars. Lol. I personally think Em is fine, he's been in a good mood, he's performed well and seems happy to me. Em's fans have a way of hyping themselves up before stuff is confirmed, and then getting angry when nothing happens as they expected, so I wonder if Em's team is doing a "trolling promo" this year. In the revival promo video they had a date - 17th - and everyone assumed the album would drop then, even tho it never was confirmed in any way. So it turned out to be an interview and since everyone assumed the album would drop, Em didn't say anything about the album. They're dropping hints about "bars on snl" and people talk about a new song, but no, it's chocolate bars. I understand everyone's frustration, I do, and I am probably the only one who isn't angry with Em, but I actually find it a bit amusing with all this trolling if that's what they're doing. I'm hyped and looking forward to the album whenever it drops! 😂

He's such a sour puss in all his recent pics. I haven't listened to the interview he did the other day. Did he sound in a good mood or did he sound goofy like he has in some of the ones he did while promoting MMLP2?

Yeah I totally understand everyone's irritation and frustration, but I don't know why, I just feel so chill about this album, lol! I've been expecting it for over a year, a few more weeks/months isn't a big deal for me. And yeah, he sounded happy in the interview, he was laughing out loud, cracking jokes, being funny. He sounded chill and comfortable imo! As for his pics, he always looks serious and pissed, that's how he is in pics nowadays. He's looked pissed for years, but I think he looked good, confident and comfortable on stage performing. He was alone on stage, no Porter, which I think is a good sign too. He was comfortable enough to be alone up there. Both on SNL and EMAs. After his comeback you could see he needed Porter as his safety net but I thought he looked good and like he was having a good time on stage.

The performance was okay, he did act like he was in front of stadium gesturing for people to wave and struggling to refrain from saying his "it what?" during Stan lol. He couldn't stand still when he was on the mic stand so I think he was nervous. He kills me with his very literal hand movements when he's trying to act out his lyrics, like when he said "it is time to wash out the blonde" lol.
Glad Paul is getting hate. I don't see how any of this is amusing, it's making a mockery of fans. You can't piss off fans purposely and then cry and hide when you get hate you provoked.
At this point, they should just release the album and stop with the nonsense. If Em is not ready to promote, that's fine I think we can do without the vanilla interviews he's been giving for the past 10 years. Just release a statement with the key talking points you want to communicate and call it day.
And done listening to the rumors/hype about release dates. They ruined the pre-release excitement for a lot of fans, way to sabotage your own comeback!

I didn't saw the SNL peformance yet so I can't judge on his level of stess yet, but don't you think that if he had mental issue for the last couple years he would just retired?? And not risk anything bad that could happen? He looked the happiess he has ever been when he sober up so Idk why he would risk his mental health or a relapse. He always had social awkwardness and his public appearances are always more and more distanced now, 3-4 years is a looong time! So he has to get used to it all over again every time. Idk... what made you think he had mental issues at the ends of MMLP2 era matty ? I don't really remember the end of the era.

To me in the shade45 interview he was goofy but also low key sarcastic Like he was saying Beyoncé never made a mistake in her career and that he was probably making a mistake being there right now (at the show) And then he said "we are all a bunch of grown ass men in case anyone was wondering" because everyone was just making stupid jokes Honestly I think Em goes on shade45 simply to give them ratings but doesn't takes it seriously. He is a bit a brat on there usually lol.

This legit made me cry. I thought Em's performance was off and apparently i wasn't the only one. I hope he doesn't read this because you know it will crush him. I think something is wrong with Em. I don't know if he is just ready to hang it up or if there is something legitimately bad going on in his life right now. Personally, i think he is ready to hang it up and that is why Paul moved over to Def Jam. He can't run Def Jam and manage Em at the same time. I mean he can if Em puts out an album every 4 years and does little to no promotion. But something is definitely going on with him. He didn't get this kind of criticism when he was in the tailspin of his drug abuse.

There is def something wrong with him and I know everyone hates it when I say it but i genuinely think he has a lot of mental issues that he struggles with hia performance wasn't bad but it was weird. It was like he didn't realize he was performing in front of a small crowd. Paul practically babysits him. He is never without his headphones in public...this album role out is super weird.... something is up. now honestly I think at home he is happy. And personally I think he had a control on shit when he is just with his family and working in the studio. Cuz he sounds happy personally but then when he starts promoting it's like the stress gets to him and whatever he struggles with comes back in full force I'm worried he is gonna have a full break down on live tv or something

The Daily Mail supports Trump so that article was slanted. His performance was good and he seemed fine.

TDM is a piece of shit rag, and if all they could get was twitter bitching, then Em has them shook I don't think ppl hate this as much as the Trump media wants you to think they do. I talked to my brother who is super into nowadays hip hop scene, knows all about it, and he's excited for Ems album and likes WOW The thing is, the whole "vulnerable and honest rap" thing? That IS the new big trend. That's what all the new rappers are actually doing I didn't realize it until now, but -- Ems on point. If his whole album was about being depressed, struggles, etc? That could actually smash I didn't know this until I talked with my brother, cause he's way more into hip hop now than I am. But even rappers I thought were goofy and stupid are doing it. I mean, I had an inkling. Cuz that's how young ppl in our society are feeling -- abandoned, like we want to tune out, depressed. But emotional rap? That's the big new thing That has actually turned my whole view around. If this album is good, really good? I think Em could dominate Also, lots more ppl liked MMlp 2 than I thought. Like, lots of ppl said they didn't like Berzerl, thought they'd get the album, but then loved it It all rides on the album, is all saying.
