I kind of feel bad for Rubin lol poor guy probably witnessed a few breaks downs lol But I hope Em knows we don't want mumble garbage crap from him. We just want him to do him and let us know how he feels

I mean, Rap God is awesome and still huge with even young fans I definitely think he takes criticism too hard

I can't access the interview right now. Can someone summarize it for me? Em sounded real anxious? I thought he was good mood and seemed comfortable talking with Rick. It's pretty short and he mostly talks about hip hop he liked when he was younger. But it's a really interesting listen.

Love any time I can hear EM talking. I thought he sounded really relaxed and funny, especially at the end when EM mentions DMC. Wish EM would do more interviews. And, the more I listen to "Walk on Water" the more it grows on me. EM reflecting on himself, at this point in his life, is very interesting. I hope his new album with have a sense of maturity.

I think Em sounded comfortable and confident here, not nervous at all. And why should he be really? Lol. They only talked about very safe subjects--Em's love for hip hop and how the song came together. Pretty much the only things he discusses in interviews anymore. It's standard fare for Marshall Mathers. Another rather dry interview. But then again, i wouldn't expect it to be all that juicy either, as it was a podcast for Rick Rubin. Not really meant to be a very personal interview. Good to hear him talking and sounding good and alive though. First time we've heard from him since the Hanukkah radio fiasco a year ago.

He's not talking about his personal life in interviews anymore, if that's what you wanted, it's just about the music, though i don't know why he's still being asked or wants to be asked about his influences.
