This confuses me because I also thought he had a blackberry smart phone and I think at one point he may have had an iPhone? Lol so which one is it or does he have like a million phone numbers and phones 😂.. I remember that pic with the blackberry (wasn't it around the time of the Tyson interview?) I looked up when Blackberry said they were discontinuing service and I thought it was a year or so before that pic so I was always iffy on what was going on with that pic. Also, that pic with the blackberry was years ago I'd go with what Alchemist says lol. Lol true. Also, I believe it was right around the Superbowl I think |

Somehow it doesn't go with his character that Marshall likes to be in the dark, ignorance, especially in today's mostly completely, digital age. Sentiment for analog time (which ended a loooong, loooong time ago (much calmer and simpler times!)) is something else, and keeping up with time is a must in everything today, if you want to stay relevant whether we like it or not. Maybe he didn't know what he said at the beginning, whether it was true or not and let's assume that what he said is true, but ignorance is annoying, when you are surrounded by something or someone and still requires some knowledge, at least to some extent to be able to understand the process of something or someone's conversation. Maybe he was adviced and even forbidden to use the Internet and some things from it, I hope that intellectual curiosity won and overcame all that. In essence, today you have a lot more useful things on the Internet, than the other way around, you just need to know how to choose. He knows a lot more than just turning on the computer and he has been using a lot of it, for a long time. He remained consistent with his musical expression more or less and so be it, it would be better if he were even more, if we refer to past times and his work but that is not what we are talking about now.

Also, it is common for celebrities to have at least two phones, one for business and one for personal. Matter of fact most business people have two phones. Important calls on one phone for people you trust with your number, and a junk phone. I'm in media and I have two phones. I know on one anyone calling me on that phone I specfically gave them that number. On the other they could have got it through the grapevine, through my email signature or from a colleague. Luckily my company allows us to expense our phone, because I learned my lesson the hard way when I tried to use my personal phone for both and all kind of randos called — usually people who don't like what you wrote and want to tell you how lame you are.  This Super Bowl rehearsal photo totally cracks me up because Dre looks annoyed like "Are you listening to me" and the guy next to him is trying to sneak a peek at his text. Whomever he is talking to or whatever he is looking up was important enough to put Dre on ignore.   |

Im sure he has more the one phone and I’m sure both numbers are tightly guarded and not given out except for people he is close in working with. |

Rankings of rappers from Billboard last year and Forbes this year. What are your thoughts? I can't believe Nicki Minaj made it so high on the first list, and that Cardi B and Bad Bunny made it on the Forbes list. It has to be because of their worth. I wonder what these are judged on — fans or music "experts"?   |

I think its reasonable to believe that Interscope didn't think Houdini would do much at radio, so they didn't have a plan to push it at radio. It's been a long time since Eminem has had a radio hit. So the fact that radio has been so receptive probably caught them off guard. I don't necessarily fault them for that. |

Houdini doing well must have been a nice suprise. I wonder how Em reacted to its success. Probs so happy lol |

I only heard Houdini played when one of the DJ's said someone one his team heard it and liked it and said he'd play it. That was the one time I heard Houdini played on the radio since its release.
I also agree with the comment about Monster getting more airplay.... I have wondered if that was because Rihanna was part of that.

The only radio station I’ve heard Houdini on was shade 45 😆. I remember hearing monster quite a bit on the radio and i can’t even remember if
I heard river on the radio at all.

I swear I have to go to the grocery store to hear Houdini 🤣 it’s been playing so many times in the grocery store! Really interrupts my shopping when I have to stand under a speaker to hear properly lol!
Also checked finnish NRJ’s play list, and they seem to play it every third hour
