Pink is hilarious. And the way she describes Em is hilarious too. Apparently he didn't give too much thought to this AT ALL. Lel. (And apparently he travels more than we may have thought. On vacay in Rio de Janiero? You go Em!) “I sneak-attacked him,” Pink, 38, admits to EW. “[Producer] Max [Martin] and I started making [“Revenge”], and I wrote this rap. We were drinking a lot of wine, and then I went home and I thought more wine would be a good idea.” Finally ready, “I emailed [Eminem],” she continues. “This is why they call it liquid courage. And I said, ‘You know I love you. I like that you work with a lot of the same people, like Rihanna. She’s hotter than me, but I’m funnier. So I’m going for a rap Grammy, and I’d like to take you along with me.’ It was this long email, and he wrote back right away and just said, ‘Okay.'” Eminem was in Rio De Janeiro when the request came in, but Pink found the finished track in her inbox just four days later. Thrilled, she recalls, “I emailed him again, I was like, ‘This is the best thing I’ve ever heard! I want to tackle you and rub your face in the dirt!'” His response? “He just wrote back and was like, ‘Okay.'” ew.com/music/2017/10/12/pink-eminem-duet-revenge-interview/

Song doesn't rock my world. I expected more edge from Pink and it's kinda placid for my liking. Probably need to hear it a few more times. Personally, I don't think it's gonna go bonkers on the radio/net the way "Love The Way You Lie" did. No one expected this to be a hit like "LTWYL", or "The Monster". Granted, but lyrically I was expecting more from Pink and EM.

There is no known info that he went to Brazil aside from Shows. I think Pink sent him the Mail when he was in Brazil for Lollapalooza last year. Either she mixed up the City or he did a day trip to Rio.
I think the Song has to be older anyway. Let me explain this. She talked about drinking wine before sending Eminem the Mail. She had her son in December 2016 wich means she got pregnant around March/April 2016. So let's say she found out betwenn the first and third month, she stopped drinking alcohold (I think she is that responsible) between like maybe April and June, maybe July. So it can't be during this time until end of 2016. Now it also shouldn't have been after her son being born because she is breastfeeding. There was an article from early September and it sounded like she still did. So unless they recorded the Song within the last 4 weeks, what's nearly impossible because of the Video being filmed 3 weeks ago, it's from summer 2016 or older. The whole timing would perfectly match Lollapalooza.

Em can be such a weirdo sometimes. lol i remember he did a similar thing to someone else too. I forget who it was but i swear someone reached out via email to Em and Em took forever to get back with a completed verse and no message attached haha. the person was like thanks? lol I just think thats how Em works. He either thinks it funny to respond with a one word answer to a long ass message. Or if its really him responding maybe he just isn't great at typing lol so he just makes its short and sweet. Also remember when Curtis Hanson said when he first met Em in a meeting Em just sat there without saying a word and Em's people did all the talking? Dude is just a little weirdo haha who knows with him hahaha

Be grateful that he's toned down the lyrical myrical stuff that he's been doing for the last 3 years, I'm sure you were one of those people complaining about it, this is a good change after all that.

Sorry, britanny, but I was never 'one of those people complaining about it.' That being said, EM is still referring to "whores" and "cheating." Nothing original in his verse except maybe his pitch!

He really needs to meet the girl of his dreams and fall deeply, madly in love and write the best love song in the universe. And not refer to her as bitch and a whore.

I was telling my BFF that today at lunch. But then we both agreed that his fans would barf all over themselves if he released an album that was essentially, "Love Songs by Eminem". While we say we would love something new and different, but if we actually get something new and different, we would hate it. I hope Em doesn't pay attention to us. He may be weird, but we are schizoid.

It's a cutesy, forgettable song. So glad we got the freestyle before that. That would have been underwhelming after the long silence.
Lol about the love letter. I guess Pink never gives up. Do you guys remember that Jennifer girl's book where she mentioned that Pink was trying to hook up with Em back in early 2000s and he was like "uh no thanks"? Matter of fact I think she wrote him a love letter back then too.

I have to disagree about Revenge though, it has a general positive reaction from stans so far as far as im concerned. We were worried about corny pop bubble gum. But, pretty much made us happy and confident, he didn't let any room for previous criticism to bite this feat. Had flow was as smooth as his on "Hurt You ft. Busta rhymes". He didn't scream. No blant unfunny misogyny. No 'cringe' corny lines (even though I adore them) .. And he was funny. I do not think this track is so deep or memorable. But it's catchy as fuck, and sounds better every time I replay it than the previous listen. The hype gonna start hard when the video releases, it would be in Radios. Also I remember seeing it #5 on itunes this early morning. don't know if it got better. Also I disagree that its good she didnt release it last week. If the video was out, at least 30% of people who watched the freestyle will want to check out it, and it would eat views and hype out of the freestyle and become much much much bigger. I respect your opinion though, but this is not likr "The Monster". Im pretty sure Em sent P!nk the song because he respect her hustle and respect of him, he knows.
