I am in Texas, stuck in the stupid Hurricane Harvey storm. So my friend and I went out looking for food and the only place open was KFC and we had to wait in line for over an hour just to order a bucket of chicken. Anyway, so we started talking about Em and why he always wears a hat. After much discussion on such an important matter as everyone around us drowned in the flood waters, we concluded that he probably has a receding hairline and/or a bald spot and wears the hat to cover it up.
Then we started talking about the episode of Two and a Half Men were the character Alan buys spray on hair and decided that we could totally see Em doing something like this. And then we laughed ourselves silly because we are getting stupider by the minute having to stay in the house 24/7.
Like I said, totally random thought but I want you guys to share in my mental deterioration as I wait out this storm.
Here's the episode:

I feel you and everyone else who's in Texas in the wake of Harvey. Been watching it on the news and it's devastating and utterly sad. Take care of yourself, tcat!

BTW, I think EMs been using that spray on hair for years now. His hair was very suspicious to me during the "Recovery" era...LOL!

Thanks for the well wishes. I keep getting water in my house that I have to dry vac up every few hours and I don't have enough towels to put down to capture it all and there is NO place open to get any, even WalMart is closed. And WalMart is always open. I keep having to put my wet towels on the spin cycle and then the dryer every couple of hours. But other than that I am ok, except I am about to go crazy. Luckily I am in the burbs that has gotten hit with a bunch of rain but nothing like Houston proper. It is crazy how much flooding there is. I finally turned the TV off because it was just getting so depressing.
It is supposed to be like this until Thursday or Friday. I'm not sure I can last that long. So if I start to sound nuts, you will know why. Just ignore it.

Thanks matty. Where outside of Houston did you grow up? And you can appreciate this. This is the most "Texas" thing ever.

Oh God! I hope everybody´s ok tcat and matty been with the TV on and got a chill through my vains everytime I see the news or listen to the people. I hate natural disasters...and human disasters...I feel so sad but another part of me really wants to be there..I was in this course to mental help in these kind of situations when Haiti happened and since then I get so emotional with these things I actually got out of the house today for the first time since Sunday. I literally was about to lose my mind. We got a little bit of water in our living room, nowhere near what others are experiencing. Just enough to be annoying that I can to wet vac up until 4am for 2 nights in a row. So today I ventured out of the house for some bleach and mold remover/preventive stuff because after a storm like this comes the hot, hot, miserable weather which will cause major mold to grow. Like the bad kind, black mold. So while my sanity briefly improved for about an hour, it quickly went down hill when I could find any bleach ANYWHERE in the city or surrounding areas. I finally found 2 small bottles at CVS drug store, after going to 12 different Home Depots, Walmart, and Loews. I seriously was about to cry. I guess I will have to work with the 2 bottles I have and try again tomorrow. But thanks for the well wishes.
