Okay NFT rant
This isn’t necessarily just about Royce (although I’m like 99% Royce’s next scam is going to be some weird vegan detox/diet cuz he keeps randomly mentioning he’s vegan randomly lol but I digress)
Anywho what i despise about NFTs is that they cherry pick and present skewed data to oblivious ppl like Paul (who doesn’t know what questions to ask) to market it to them and then their consumers
For instance for Royce’s nft shit they won’t say how many ppl they are letting in yet but it’s just a small amount so hurry up and sign up!! And they won’t expose what would be considered “sold out” so after the two days that they offer the sale they can sell it to like ten people and still be able to say LOOK RICH OLD MAN!! It sold out!! Invest in us!! Because no one knows the actual data comparison or even if they do give them a number they can be like we did it on purooseeeeee. Either way they get to control the narrative
Because nothing was defined. Then they like to say “omg our last nft sold out quick!!” Well sir that’s because Eminem’s fucking name was attached to u bozo. Not just ur name. See this is what happens when you focus on work and make quality music and have a good positive reputation in the business while still being able to dj for Em on tour and network and build an awesome career for yourself instead of bitching and complaining and clout chasing and whining and name dropping and being entitled and blaming everyone and everything and manipulating fans and industry ppl

I read a lot of bad comments on Royce's latest release on Reddit and other forums lol It’s cuz it’s legit bad even Joe and his podcast moved past it REAL quick and they are up Royce’s ass. Joe pretended he didn’t know about it and changed the subject it’s bad. And to make it worst I think these are older songs and the newer ones on his “greatest hits” were recorded more recently and those are even worse. his flow is god awful and I’m not just saying that. He never had a great flow but now it’s basically Macklemore disease where he just runs his flow from low to finishing it up high - low to high each bar. He doesn’t ride the beat anymore eta: I will say redmans verse was amazing. Royce following his verse just highlighted how bad it was tbh cuz redman executed it flawlessly like it was easy lol |
