I don't think he has admitted that? He has talked about a violent relationship tho, but what also people around him/them has said, he never hit her. It was more pushing, grabbing hair kinds of things (according to his songs at least)? And they made it sound like it was more selfdefense than him actually being violent. 
Although if he couldn't stand men hitting women, he should maybe change a few of his closest friends... 

hhmmmmm I will say I do believe his violent history..I do believe the pushing moments but you can´t really say anything when you actually don´t know, I remember Debbie saying he never hit Kim that he rather go to the car and punch the car...of course this was when they were young, they had a lot of more years together and maybe he lost control one or a few times, however, I do believe she used to go crazy on him and hit him more and harder (which actually doesn´t excuse any of them) but I always liked to think he went violent on her because of jelausy and drugs in his system. And I don´t believe in him having violent friends would make him violent or that he should stay away from them...weeeell, maybe from Budden (ggggrrr I hate that guy)...but it should be actually a great oportunity for him to make them change their behaviour

I'd bet my favorite EM memorabilia that Kim and EM had "knock down drag out" fights. And those fights weren't momentary, by a long shot, and I'm sure that they lasted for days...weeks...and longer! Their love was toxic...Brrrr...Shivers down my spine, toxic!
