I wonder how Em takes meeting these kids. I know he's great with kids but at the same time, it can't be easy to meet a child with a life-threatening disease. Many of these kids are also end-stage, so to see a kid you know is going to die… I don't know if I could do it. Maybe if you can just focus on that moment you have with the child it's easier? I think it's really great that he's doing these meetings.

That's why I think Denaun was there this time, and the reason Em grabbed Royce to see Gage Garmo last year... For the moral support and to make him more at ease meeting and talking to all these people he doesn't know. It has reported by many people who have been around Em and know him that Em is socially awkward and shy--unless he's in his performing/ class clown mode--which wouldn't really fit this situation. |

Yeah absolutely! These kids looked pretty good tho, I guess it was harder to see Gage last year, when he actually was dying, and died the next day. I really admire Em for doing this. I mean I already feel horrible about my rheumatism kid in a wheelchair and she'll get rid of her wheelchair in a couple of weeks, and she will have"recovered" by christmas. |

Does he really need Royce and Denaun to hold his hand? If that's the case, it's a little bit sad. I'm assuming he has other people in his team (PA, bodyguards) who are facilitating those meetings so it's not like he doesn't have any other familiar faces in the room. |

About the little girl meeting em. Kids these days are pretty advanced, I wouldn't be surprised if she was a big fan even at that age. I mean, I hear little kids swearing all the time. Maybe someone played lots of em around her. Also, what's wrong with em needing his friends for emotional support?

I agree...I mean I dragged my husband with me to take my dog to the vet a few days ago. Just because I didnt' think I could answer the Vet's questions on my own LOL It calmed me a bit to have someone else there. |

Also, what's wrong with em needing his friends for emotional support? i mean in regards to the little girl I was mainly referring to the video...she did not seem that excited...more confused lol. I am just saying i wouldn't be surprised if her dad got her into eminem and she picked him because it would make both her and her dad happy as far as the emotional support I agree. I heard as well that Em seems to be a bit socially awkward (but he seems to be more comfortable with kids) and I dont see anything wrong with wanting support during times that are especially sensitive. EM is socially awkward and does seem uncomfortable around new people and new situations. He admits that he isn't an attention seeker during his day to day life and Obie said out of everyone on Shady Camp Em is most likely to be the one in the background reading a book by himself. I kind of relate to Em in this way. I am really goofy with my friends and people i feel comfortable with but I would never go to a party by myself and I shut down when I am with new people in general. I also love to be goofy and make a lot of jokes when I am comfortable around people but then I need a few days to be myself. Like almost to recoup lol. I dont see anything wrong with it-a lot of people are like this and it sometimes take more effort than other to be social. My older sister for instance can make friends in one night in a new place and it takes me months...if not more. Basically if I was Em i would want a friend to be with me to during something like that haha. |

I'm starting to wonder if Em's pecs in the pic with Drake were rather, uh, photo-enhanced, Lol. His physique in the actual show and in these pics isn't anywhere close to the complete buffed out dude in the Drake pic. Edit: And I wonder the same thing about that 3am video shoot shot, Lol. He's almost got bigger boobs than I do.  |
