Both ruled the world from 1999-2004
Both down spiralled and nearly died in 2007
Both have restricted interviews these days, same old questions instead of interesting one's that we all want to know
Both had a lot of personality back in the day, now they're both extremely shy and awkward
Both are now like two completely different people
Both now try to stay out of the limelight

I think it is because both of them have anxiety. Most likely used drugs to help calm the anxiety and are both now clean.
I actually thought this same thing a few weeks ago, how similar they were and how would they work as a couple now LOL

Her breakdown changed her forever. |

There are quite a few similarities between the two! I remember watching her reality show Chaotic a few years ago and thinking about how much she has changed! She used to be so full of life. In the few recent interviews that I have seen of her, she acts completely different! She looks awkward and nervous.
At least Em seems like he has his shit together, Britney on the other hand is still under conservatorship.
